PJ first became aware of Belle when she began attending the church he was a part of. It was through his senior pastor that PJ received her phone number to connect about Youth ministry, and he soon invited her to coffee. Their first meeting was on March 4, 2023, at Fuel and Co., where they began building a connection. As they continued to meet over the next few months, PJ’s feelings for Belle grew, recognizing her faith, kindness, and beauty. On August 13, 2023, after Belle sent out an open invitation for a picnic, PJ, misunderstanding, showed up alone and confessed his feelings under a starlit sky. Although initially surprised, Belle took time to consider the next steps. Two months later, on October 16, 2023, they took their next step, and on August 3, 2024, PJ and Belle got engaged. Their story was a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the work of Jesus, bringing them together.
