Kecak Dance in Uluwatu is a mesmerizing traditional Balinese performance set against the stunning backdrop of Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. This dance, also known as the “Monkey Chant Dance,” is unique because it is performed without musical instruments. Instead, a chorus of dozens of men chant “cak-cak-cak” rhythmically, creating an intense and hypnotic atmosphere. The dance narrates scenes from the Ramayana, an ancient Hindu epic, focusing on the battle between Prince Rama and the demon king Ravana, with the aid of the monkey god Hanuman. The combination of the fiery sunset, the dramatic storytelling, and the rhythmic chanting makes the Uluwatu Kecak Dance one of the most enchanting cultural experiences in Bali.

The venue is the Airbnb we are staying at, we won't know the exact address until the day gets closer. It's in Seririt, Bali, Indonesia. If you have questions about where to stay, reach out to us so we can better direct you.
The wedding is in Seririt, however, it's about a 3.5 hour drive from the airport. We would recommend staying closer to the airport for the first night, or a few nights to get to experience Bali more. After looking into hotels, we found that an Airbnb is cheaper than a hotel and some provide a car service to pick you up and drop you off. If you prefer a hotel, please let us know so we can get a hotel block figured out!
Both will be held outside! In September, Bali experiences pleasant, warm weather, making it a great time to visit. You can expect comfortable temperatures, sunshine, and minimal rainfall, ideal for enjoying the island's beaches, temples, and other attractions
The time set for the ceremony is 4 PM, when the time comes closer we'll have a set time and will reach out to everyone. For the time being please arrive anywhere between 3:15-3:30PM
We’ve reserved seats for the names listed on your invitation. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to us.
No, but if you prefer a hotel rather than an AirBnb let us know so we can reserve a block!
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’ve hired a photographer to capture the special moments, and we’ll share them with you afterward.
Yes! there is enough room for about 4-5 cars, let us know if you decide to rent a car so we can check for space availability!

Hepatitis B – Advised if you plan on getting medical treatment, tattoos, or engaging in close contact activities. 4. Typhoid – Recommended for travelers eating street food or staying in rural areas. 5. Rabies – Consider if you plan on visiting rural areas, interacting with animals, or staying for an extended period. Bali has a rabies risk, especially from dogs and monkeys. 6. Japanese Encephalitis – Recommended for long-term travelers or those spending time in rural or agricultural areas. 7. Malaria & Dengue Fever – Bali has a low malaria risk, so antimalarial medication is not typically needed. It’s always best to consult your doctor or a travel clinic before your trip for personalized advice.
