How did we meet?
Aaron and I met through our mutual friend Kirstie—she definitely deserves all the credit (lol). He had added me on Instagram because we were always tagging each other in our stories. At the time, I wasn’t interested in dating him. He lived in Tampa, I was in Fort Lauderdale, and long distance just wasn’t something I wanted to entertain. But we quickly became friends and started spending hours on FaceTime every day. We’d talk about everything—life, love, God, and our biggest dreams. He would always ask about Jayden, and half the time he’d end up talking to him instead of me. It was honestly the cutest thing. What we thought was just a sweet friendship slowly turned into something more—something that gave us butterflies. About a month and a half into talking, Aaron decided to make the drive down to visit me. That visit changed everything. After a year of long distance—me flying up, him driving down—I made the move with Jayden to Tampa. People thought we were crazy. It was a bold, unexpected choice, and we definitely got judged. But here we are, four years later. We’ve built a home together, welcomed two more beautiful children, and now we get to celebrate our love and seal the deal surrounded by the people who matter most. It turned out to be the best decision of our lives. 🫶🏼💕
The Proposal
Aaron and I bought our first home together in September 2023, with little Soraya just 3 months old. It felt like fate that his mom and aunt were in town for a friend’s wedding, and my mom was visiting for her birthday weekend. After a long day of moving in, we ended the night with a toast in our brand-new home—surrounded by our parents—and that’s when Aaron got down on one knee and proposed. It couldn’t have been more perfect or meaningful. I said “YES!” a thousand times over!😍 💍

Are kids welcome?
Answer
No. We love our munchkins! However, we would like to keep our special day ADULT- ONLY ages 12+ are welcome and have been added on your family rsvp list.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by the 1st of August. If an rsvp is not entered for your party, we will assume you will not be present and you will sadly not be accounted for. Please be mindful that RSVP is a MUST if you attend.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
No. Although we would love to invite your plus one, we would like to keep our special day as intimate as possible. When you RSVP it will only allow the names that are on our guest list. Thank you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Punctuality is key, please be seated no later than 2:50pm. All doors will be closed if you come after the time provided. Thank you!

When should I consider RSVP?
Answer
We recommend you either have your flight or Hotel stay booked before you RSVP to ensure no last minute cancellations.

Is there a dress code?

YES! Wear your best formal attire!

Can I wear white, beige ivory etc.?
Answer
NO. Any shades of white attire that could mistake you for the bride, is not appropriate.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
YES, please see the travel page for more details. We have added options near the venue but also wanted to provide locations near our home and welcome you to spend time with us outside of the wedding day! (Venue is located 20min. from our home)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
YES! We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy tasty food. You can notify the chef before hand and they will prepare your meal separately!
