Jake and I first meet casually at the Rockwood dog park, both of us in other relationships. Me thinking he was the second half of an adorable gay couple.... One of those couples that somehow merge to look like the same person, sorry Colin. Neither one of us actually knowing the others name just our respective dogs. We saw each other relatively frequently as we were apart of the 7:00/8:00 p.m. dog parent crew. Can't say we even talked much only generic polite statements really. Fast forward and I had moved back in with my parents had some other short term flings, when finally giving up of sorts. Jake oddly enough when through a similar period even moving back in with his folks. It wasn't too much longer before my dad started to pester me saying things like: "why don't you go out on some dates?", "Shouldn't you be going out this weekend?", "don't you want to go dancing?" Basically shouldn't you get back out there? Well I decided to check out Bumble and there Jake was, looking like a snack with some nice thick thighs. At the first swipe I remember thinking this guy seems familiar. We end up talking an decided on a date. As I was walking up to the bar it hit me where I remembered this guy from, the dog park. He immediately asked, "do you have a dog name Bast?" My response, " and your's is Freya right?" I like to think we hit it off after that, since I invited him to a bay day the following morning. Mind you this would be the first and only time he was early to a meet up. I knew that day after walking and talking by the water he was it for me. We spent the whole weekend together and have been a partnership since.
We'll post our registry here when we're finished building it. Thank you in advance!
BYOB but there will be some provided. Remember since this is happening at a "home" no liquor license and we can bring what we want.
We will be doing an engagement party/bridal shower. Hosted by Eve and Bryan Pietrzyk in Maryland for those who can't make it to Vermont; however, we don't plan on having a separate bridal party or bachelorette/stag party. We just want people to focus on being able to attend the main event, the wedding.
The ceremony will be brief and outside, with the snow backdrop. Then party in whatever dress you like. Dress it up or dress it down, but most importantly party down!
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
