Our Love StoryOur Love Story

Since June 2022
First shared meal

First shared mealFirst shared meal

It all began on June the two, A prayer meeting with quite a crew. At "Street Bun" we shared a plate, A chicken salad that felt like fate. A perfect half, a fifty-fifty split, Who knew our hearts would so quickly fit?

The stolen ring

The stolen ringThe stolen ring

At Lea’s birthday, with food and bling, Pierre “borrowed” Jessy’s red ring. A ring from mom, so bold, so bright, He said, “I’ll give it back… just not tonight.” He kept it safe, made it his excuse, “Hey, your ring’s still with me, by the way…” That tiny ring became the way Our first date finally found its day.

A Promise Restored

He kept the ring till master’s done, He showed up biking, surprise and fun. She kept him thirsty shy to share, “Un garçon, une fille, et une bicyclette,” their pair

Love Notes and Memories

Love Notes and MemoriesLove Notes and Memories

Sticky notes became Pierre’s second major, Placed in secret like a love-filled favor. Jessy’s eyes were always keen, Searching for notes, a daily routine. Plenty of flowers, hunts with clues, Morse code games and scout-life views. Cross-stitched bookmarks, laughs that flow, Pinky promises, telepathy’s glow.

First date

The first date started with a game, A playful hunt to find the flame. Charades had us laughing loud, Guessing wildly, feeling proud. Pierre brought his scout and chef style, Cooking up fun with goofy smile.

An adventure to remember

It was a memorable date, no doubt, When Pierre’s car just gave out. Stuck in the rocks, so far away, Even the winch took half a day!

Anniversaries

Jessy keeps on saying, “Never forget the dates that give us a reason to celebrate.” She loves how he remembers, always aware. For them, anniversaries aren’t just a date, They’re sacred moments they celebrate. Guess what? it's a parade!

Celebrating Milestones

Never dare to skip a birthday cheer, Festival or feast, they hold so dear. For Jessy, each birthday’s pure magic, A special day, never tragic. Pierre was new to this grand art, So he put in effort straight from the heart. And Jessy showed with dreams so bright, How birthdays make life feel just right.

Food That Drives Us Crazy

Mexican nights are one of their faves, Tacos, sombreros, and spicy waves. Tried on the hats, couldn’t stop the cheer, Laughed so hard, we had tears in our beer!

Unexpected proposal

Unexpected proposalUnexpected proposal

Pierre planned it all, no room for delay, Called Jessy’s manager to fake a workday. She believed it, of course why wouldn’t she? Pierre kept saying, “How can I talk to your dad? Not easy, you see.” Surrounded by pines and eternity’s glow, He gave her a letter, let his feelings show. Poured out his heart, no need to rehearse, Then popped the big question she said YES in a burst.

Engagement

Engagement night, with family all around, The Virgin Mary watching, calm and sound. Before that day, a promise was made, In front of her, where our hearts were laid. And just right, in the Christmas season’s glow, We took our next step and let love grow.
