How they met...

Salvador and Phuong first met at Hawthorne High School, introduced by a friend during a lunch break in 2004. They became friends, but being in different grade levels meant they eventually drifted apart. Years later, they began running into each other again and started hanging out with mutual friends. As they spent more time together, they got to know each other better and discovered they shared many of the same interests. Sal even got Phuong hooked on Dodgers baseball games.

How they started dating...

One day, Salvador made plans with Phuong. She got off work early and hoped they could hang out sooner, but he never answered his phone. She stopped by his place and waited for him to call back, and eventually grew impatient and decided to go to the nearby Daiso store. Meanwhile, Salvador had gone to pick up his niece from school and had accidentally left his phone at home. When he returned, he saw all the missed calls and text messages from Phuong. He called her back right away, but she was mad. He apologized and hoped they could still hang out. She came over with a mad face, but when he hugged her, she kissed him. And that’s how their relationship began…

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors open at 4 pm - 4:50 pm, please give yourself time to be seated before the ceremony starts. Guests who arrives after 5:00 pm, will have to wait outside until the front coordinator allows entrance.

Question

Can I bring my kids and/or plus ones?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, our wedding will be mostly adults, with a few exceptions for close family and select guests. As for plus ones, we can only accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation due the limited space. Thank you for understanding, we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I change my RSVP after submitting it?

Answer

Things happen—we get it! Just reach out to Salvador or Phuong as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/semi-formal - Help us keep the photos looking vibrant - please do not wear white/ivory (reserved for the bride!) or Sage green and green. Feel free to wear comfortable shoes. Sneaker with a dress or suit? Go for it. We appreciate your fashion choices and we're excited to see how amazing you will all look!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is enough, but if you wish to give, a contribution to our honeymoon and house fund would be appreciated. We will have a card box by the reception entrance.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is onsite parking at the venue.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to be mindful when using their phones and cameras during the ceremony, so everyone can fully be present with us. We promise our photographer will get all the best shots - just relax and enjoy the I do's with us!
