Downtown Chapel Hill is home to the University of North Carolina. The downtown area has shops, food, and a beautiful campus to walk. One of the Bride's favorite places to walk and visit. This is where the Bride and Groom had their last drink as girlfriend and boyfriend, before the Groom popped the question!

River magic! An amazing place with hiking / walking trails! Swim in the river, get coffee at Cup 22 Coffee House, or shop the local art stores! This area is the Bride's favorite place to adventure! The Sazapawhaw General Store is a must! Grab local Chapel Hill snacks and handmade goodies.
Southern Village
Southern Village is a walkable community with shops, restaurants, and year-round events! If you are staying at the Hyatt Hotel with the wedding group, you are within walking distance! They offer live music in the evenings, tasty treats, and even have a movie theater!

For our beautiful ladies, we are requesting your most colorful garden party dress! Think bright colors, florals, and over-the-top! Flats, wedges, or block heels would be best, as the venue is outside and at times in grass areas. For our handsome gentlemen, we are requesting a colorful semi-formal attire! Gentlemen, don't be afraid to wear some color! It is encouraged!

Indoor or Outdoor Wedding?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. The temperature in the evening should be suited for great dancing and not a ton of sweating! Bring a light jacket if you get cold easily. Ladies.... flats, wedges, or block heels would be best, as we will be in the grass for portions of the night.

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?
Answer
Yes! We will have a shuttle pick up guests from the Hyatt Place Chapel Hill / Southern Village at 5:00pm. We will all party and then a shuttle will return guests to the same hotel leaving the venue at 11:45 pm.

Should I bring a gift?

We have set up an Adventure Fund under our registry link above. We will also have a card box at the wedding for cards. No gifts are necessary, thank you.

Although we love our kiddos, this will be an adult-only event. (except our amazing flower girls!) Please plan accordingly.
