If it weren't for the Covid-19 pandemic, Andrew and Katie probably would not be here together today. Katie was studying abroad in Mexico when the pandemic hit and she was forced to return to the United States two months earlier than originally planned. Upon her arrival, her sister Lauren helped get her set up with a job at Tops where Andrew also happened to be working at the time. Little did Katie know, Lauren had been telling Andrew all about her and Andrew hoped and prayed that one day he just might cross paths with Katie. Andrew's wish came true on Easter Sunday of 2020 when Katie came to work at Tops for the very first time. Andrew was immediately attracted to Katie, but Katie hadn't noticed Andrew just yet. After a few weeks of working together, Andrew and Katie started to become "work buddies." This morphed into Andrew sneakily calling Katie's register phone between customers and vise versa. Katie always especially looked forward to working on days when she knew Andrew would also be there. About a month and a half after Katie's return to the U.S and beginning at Tops, Andrew asked Katie to go for a walk at Lime Hollow. This was the most awkward yet comfortable walk ever. They both knew they had feelings for each other, but neither would address the elephant in the room. Later that evening after they had parted ways, Katie FaceTimed Andrew because she had to get her feelings off her chest. To her surprise (or not surprise because everyone and their brother could tell), Andrew reciprocated Katie's feelings. On June 7, 2020, Andrew and Katie decided to "see where things went." Here they are 5 years later starting a life together. They've made it through High School, college, changing degrees, moves to Florida, years of long distance, health issues, and just about everything else imaginable. In the face of these adversities, Andrew and Katie's relationship only grew stronger. Andrew and Katie are truly meant to be and they praise God everyday for putting the other in their path. Here's to forever and never having to say "see you later" ever again. #onemorepatterson2025
