After being friends joking and bugging each other in middle school classes or casually walking to get food in town after school, and still loosing contact part of high school. There he was as it was approaching the end of our junior year, at Allen Yorke Park and lake on a sunny evening, being goofing and laughing with his best friends. And I had to with all my might say hi again, as if we weren’t practically strangers. Mind you this interaction was after almost 3 years of not really saying all but a couple words to each other in class or hallways. One thing led to the next, I followed him on social media and we never stopped texting and then we were quite literally inseparable all of senior year and next thing you know we were moving in together. Over the last 5 and a half years we have had so much fun, some chaos, life struggles, set backs, blessings and so much love. But looking back I wouldn’t change a thing. Our last high school days were so much fun together, but moving into our first house together in Bonney Lake, WA with our little girl Lainey Ray, has been the most fulfilling experience and it’s made every obstacle worth it. Safe to say our one bedroom apartment in Puyallup, WA was only just the beginning. Shout out to Marcus, he is always showing up for our family and he has stayed right by my side every step of the way. Whether that may be celebrating birthdays at Silverwood, graduating college & walking the podium, yet unaware we were pregnant with our first babygirl until the week after graduation! We were so happy to be expecting so soon. Or upgrading to a mom car to make our family more comfortable, even saving for the identical ring I picked out, to helping me get through 30 hours of an unmedicated labor with birth complications all without taking a break himself (he is so selfless), to then getting down on one knee at our professional family pictures in snowy Leavenworth, Washington. I will forever be thankful and honored to call Marcus my husband and the father of our two precious baby girls. God has placed us right where we need to be raising our blessings! Thank you to our friends and family that have continued to support us no matter what. We can’t wait to see everyone on our dreamy day!
