Formal, garden party attire. Color is encouraged, and tuxedos are not required. Please avoid jeans, boots, and short dresses. Keep in mind, the Villa has cobblestone roads. Heel protectors will be provided.

We will have Italian food including vegan and vegetarian options.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The rest of the evening will be inside the villa!

We want everyone to explore and enjoy Florence themselves, but we will be sharing our planned activities for whoever would like to join!

Should I rent a car?

We do not recommend trying to drive in Florence - the roads are tiny and you will be walking everywhere!

Is there transportation available in Florence?

Answer

Absolutely! There is a train outside the FLR airport that costs €2 and takes you directly to the city (Santa Maria Novella Station). This station is a 10-20 minute walk from most hotels and apartments. Ubers are sparse and pricey, but available!
