Dress Code?

Answer

Guests are welcome to come as they are (jeans, t shirt and sneakers are fine!), however we will have a photographer on site taking pictures throughout the day. If you would like to dress for this event, casual dresswear is acceptable. This includes: short or long sleeved casual dress shirts, casual dress pants or jeans, sneakers or dress shoes. Heels aren't recommended.

What time should I arrive?

We encourage guests with children to plan to arrive at the park starting at 2:00 pm. Our reservation provides access to the park for four hours, allowing kids to enjoy the park before and after the ceremony, as well as before and after dinner.

What's for dinner?

Answer

We are having our event catered by JD's Smokehouse, who will provide a large portion of their menu: Pork, chicken, brisket and plenty of sides to choose from! Food will be set up in the kitchen area and you will be able to serve yourselves.

There is plenty of parking on site, around the front and sides of the Town Hall building.

Where is the community room?

Answer

If you arrive early and would like to sit inside prior to the ceremony, the community room is to the immediate left of the main entrance of the town hall building. We will have signs placed so you know where the event is. **Note: The main entrance of the town hall building is in the back, adjacent to their drive thru.**

Drinks?

Answer

Due to the rules of the Rutherford College Town Hall, there will not be any alcohol served during the wedding, nor will there be any on the premises. Soft drinks, water and coffee will be available during the reception.
