There will be a cocktail reception following the ceremony in the Sound Side room with appetizers and open bar. In addition, on the outdoor veranda, there will be a champagne, Old Fashion and Cigar bar. Dinner and dancing will follow in the next room; the Glass Veranda room.

Cathy is Penny's big sister who lives in San Antonio. Cathy has always been like a mother and best friend to Penny.

Penny's brother in law Mark, has been married to Cathy for more than 50 yrs! Penny has known Mark since she was a child. Cathy and Mark have two children, Jaime (Xavi) and Todd (Julie) and one grandchild, Sloan. All reside in the San Antonino area.
Diane Mike
Best Woman
Diane is Dennis' twin sister and only sibling. Diane is the "older" sister born 20 minutes ahead of Dennis, to parents whom were unaware they were having twins! Diane is married to Wayne, groomsman. They reside in Arizona in the winter and Wisconsin in the summer.

Dennis' brother in law, married to Diane. Wayne can be the life of the party, and we a happy he's sharing this day with us.

Rae is Penny's grandniece. She is the daughter of Penny's niece Heather and Matt. They reside in Monee, IL about 30 minutes from where Penny grew up. Rae is full of energy and like her mom, loves to swim and has started gymnastics. Note: Both Raelynn and Zoe are three years old. They both have birthdays in December; only two weeks apart!

Zoe is the daughter of Dennis' youngest, Elizabeth, married to Justin. Zoe is also the only granddaughter of Dennis' ten grandchildren! Her brother Ben is the youngest grandchild. Their family will have moved across country from Boston to Seattle this summer. If you have a chance to chat with Zoe, we are sure she will have stories to tell of her adventure!

Lori is Dennis' eldest daughter, (#1) and currently resides in Nashville. She has been asked to direct us, and keep this party moving! She works in hospitality and is perfect for this role!

Officiant
Scott is lead pastor at Community Life Church, Gulf Breeze. He is Penny and Dennis' pastor. We are honored and thrilled he will be officiating our ceremony

National Naval Aviation Museum
This is a premier museum located on the NAS Pensacola base, home of the Blue Angles. Admission is free and worth the trip! Beautiful collection of planes and full of history. You must bring and ID to enter the base.
USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park
Tour battleships, tanks, air force fighter planes and more. Only about an hour west of Pensacola.

Located right on the beach with beautiful views of the Gulf, this is a very casual place known for their crab cakes. Ask to be seated on the second level for a great view, or a table next to the beach
Native Cafe
One of Dennis and Penny's favorite local breakfast spots. They serve lunch too. Located in Pensacola Beach.
DRIFT
Chic atmosphere, with incredible views of the Gulf. This is one of Penny's favorite restaurants. Beautiful location for sunsets! Or checkout the happy hour on the veranda that starts at 4pm, weekdays and Sunday. Typically closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We recommend reservations for dinner. Drift is located on the second floor of the building.

Beachy vibes and tropical drinks. This casual spot is known for its grouper sandwich.
Dave's Oyster Bar and Grill
Off the beach, and practically walking distance form Dennis and Penny's, this is one of our favorites. Sit at the bar and watch them shuck the freshest oysters available! There's other good seafood dishes too, if oysters are not your thing. Opens at 11:00am-9pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.

How far is the wedding venue from other key points of interest?
Answer
Because the area is surrounded by water, you must use a main road (HWY 98) to travel east to west. Always allow for traffic since there are few alternate routes. There are bridges connecting the the islands, Pensacola, beaches and Gulf Breeze. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, we put together a map with the key points marked for your reference. Please scroll up to "Travel Note" section of this website and click "view".

What is the weather like in October?
Answer
For the most part, the weather is beautiful. Average highs 78-82, nighttime lows 62-67. The humidity is moderate, compared to summer. The Gulf of America is warm: usually upper 70s to low 80s!
