We met at Soundbar. Top floor.
We travelled to India to see her family, visit various Tibetan temples, traveled down south India, and even met the Dalai Lama!
I got the original idea from my brother to create a puzzle, which instantly reminded me how much Passang loves them. I started off imagining an “escape room,” but what it became was an elaborate, story-like scavenger hunt built around moments and objects meaningful to us. I printed and laminated clues and hid them throughout our apartment. Each one pointed to the next, but also contained a hint needed to open a Codex that held another clue—and a fake ring. That clue led her to a giant faux diamond and a blacklight, which revealed glowing messages hidden around the apartment. Those blacklight clues finally guided her to a single fake rose. Inside that rose—sitting in plain sight for an entire month—was her real engagement ring. After she found it, we celebrated with a fancy dinner at Indienne, enjoying elevated versions of some of her favorite dishes. And to top off the night, we met up with my friends—Anne, Ann, Allen, Andrei, and Huong—for an EDM show by Elrow Productions at Radius.
Travelled to the Philippines to meet with family, island hopped, and took some engagement photos!
