How We Met
Coffee Meets Bagel (Dating App) Well, we both swiped right! We matched during an ungodly late hour. Patrisha was working through a night shift in the ICU and Irving just attended a System of Down concert. Much to the credit to one of Irving's best friends Alberto, he helped Irving initiate a conversation through the app by texting for him as he was driving... Then, in true night shift fashion, Patrisha replied and BOOM! A connection was made!
First Date
Our first date was for dinner at a restaurant in Sawtelle - Plan Check. Instantly, it was magnetic! We had such a wonderful first date that we didn't realize the restaurant was already closing. We were the last guests there!
The Night Our Stars Aligned
After a few dates, we knew this was it. Dating apps, deleted. Met each other's friends, check. As Irving said "his 'perro' days are over" and our relationship became official! Memorably enough, Irving asked Patrisha to be his girlfriend in Disneyland!

Fast forward to 5 years later... Accompanied by our amazing friends, the Brinkleys, we embarked on a vacation trip to Ireland! Walking through a self-guided hiking trail through the Glendalough National Park, we all headed towards the Upper Lake. In between the Wicklow Mountains - Irving began a heartfelt speech about their life and experiences. Patrisha, while fixated on a mated pair of ducks on the lakeshore, was completely oblivious. Irving recollected all of the happy memories, the challenges, the achievements - all of which brought them to this exact moment in time. Irving went down on one knee and proposed! Every moment was so special and beautiful, the experience intimately just for them and their dear friends. Will always be the one of the most memorable experiences!

Our Version of a Wedding Party
Omega
Flower Child
Our "Omega-Lerbs" is a 7-year-old Beagle with the biggest heart. We rescued her 2022 from a medical research and breeding facility from Virginia. When the facility was shut down, 4000 Beagles housed in a crates and cages all their lives had to find new forever homes. The minute Omega went up to Irving, he knew she was the girl for us. She is the sweetest, kindest, and most loving spirit. She is gentle and vibrant. She came into our lives shortly after we lost our first puppy, Obi. She has made our heart heal in many ways we can't even explain. She opened up our heart even more, despite the pain or sorrow we've experienced from the past. She's the sunshine of our life ever since we brought her home.
Emerie

Our Emerie is a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with all spunk and sass! We rescued her 2023 from an overbreeding situation in the Midwest. She was among a group of 20+ Corgis rescued by a local rescue organization in California. Like a true younger sister, she commands attention, wants to be the boss, and is just a sparkling personality to be around. Her addition made us feel complete as a family. We credit her for making us feel proud when we say "we have 2 girls". She is smart, bold, and confident. She provides us with infectious energy and love, always making us giggle with her quirky personality and silly antics. Having her in our family makes our days brighter and happier. We are so grateful or our little "Mimi Bo-Bemerie"!

Question
No Wedding? No Party?
Answer
We have decided to keep our wedding simple and very intimate. We will be amongst our family members during our civil ceremony in the courthouse. But! We do hope to party with all of you soon! We are currently looking for a new place to live and we are planning to host a housewarming/wedding party of some kind so we can all celebrate! We have a few other ideas for get togethers as well in the near future. We will send out invites and RSVPs once we have finalized all details. We are looking forwarding in celebrating with all of you soon!
