What is the dress code?

Answer

Weather permitting, ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors and the reception will be indoors. The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/semi-formal. We ask that men wear a suit (tie optional) or a blazer with dress pants. For ladies, a midi or knee-length dress, a stylish jumpsuit, or a skirt and blouse. Think 'party ready'—elegant, fun, and comfortable enough to dance in.

What time should I arrive?

Ceremony begins at 6:00pm. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to accommodate parking and seating.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free, onsite parking but please keep in mind that it is a public park. Therefore, we recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to accommodate finding a parking spot. There is plenty of parking in front of the venue as well as behind the greenhouse by the gift shop. There is also an alternate entrance with additional parking at the end of Walbridge Road and Birch Road in West Hartford.

How do I RSVP? What is the deadline?

Please RSVP before the deadline of May 11th. You can RSVP from our website by simply scrolling down to where it says RSVP, where you can enter your first and last name. Click on your name and it will bring you to another page where you can enter if you will be attending, your meal choice, guests name, and any dietary restrictions.

Dietary restrictions/allergies

Answer

We need to know if you or anyone in your party have food allergies or dietary restrictions of any kind. When you RSVP and select your meal choice, there is a box that allows you to enter with whom has a dietary restriction and what it is. This allows us to accommodate everyone individually when meals are being served. **Please note that all three meal options can be made gluten free.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block with The Farmington Inn. Group# is 2026MART_001 is the discount code. There should be a Room Block Card in your invitation with additional information on how to book a room. You can also scroll down to the section of our website titled "Travel" where there is a link to book a hotel room at The Farmington Inn which is about 15 minutes from the venue. Blocked rooms are on a first come, first serve basis, and must be reserved by May 11th.
