7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
We will be at The Porthole on Friday evening if you'd like to stop by and say hello! Please note, this is standing room only and first come first serve as it is still open to the public on this day. We hope to see you there!
3:00 pm
You guessed it, we're doing FUNKY FORMAL! For the ladies, think sequins, bright colors, prints, feathers, accessories. Dresses, suits, and sets all encouraged! For the men, think colored suits and bold prints. If funky formal isn't really your style, no problem just stick with a standard formal dress code.
A few things to note - there is a walk to get to the ceremony location as well as from the ceremony to the cocktail hour (we will have golf carts for those who cannot manage the walk) please factor this into your shoe choice for the day. We plan to be outside for the ceremony, rain or shine. Should it rain, we will provide ponchos but feel free to add a raincoat or umbrella to your look!
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
There will be a cocktail hour in between the ceremony and the reception, which will serve light bites. We are doing an extended cocktail hour style food service. This will not be a formal seated dinner; we will have stations and food being served for the majority of the night. Dancing to follow!!
Sat, Sep 19, 2026, 10:45 pm - Sun, Sep 20, 2026, 12:30 am
We are still working on the details of this and will update once we have confirmation.
Travel Note
For our NYC/NY friends and family, we've made the drive to Maine many times over the years, and it is our preferred method. If you decide to drive, please be aware September is still a busy season for Maine and could result in additional traffic and a longer trip.
Flight
This is the largest airport in the area. Boston is about 1.5 - 2 hours aways from Portland (depending on traffic.) If you choose to fly into this airport, we'd recommend a rental car.
Flight
This is a smaller airport, from here you can easily uber within the Portland area.
Hotel
We will be staying at the Aloft in Downtown Portland. We have a very small room block available here and recommend booking early. The room block requires a two-night stay. The link above should take you directly to the page. Please reach out to Ruby via rubyandpatrickoshea@gmail.com if you are unable to book a room and would like to.

Hotel
We ask that you RSVP before August 1. Please be sure to include if you are driving to the venue or taking the shuttle or using another mode of transportation.
We do not intend on having a wedding registry at this time. Should you feel inclined to give a gift, we will have a place for envelopes and well wishes at the wedding.
Our wedding is both, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be primarily outdoor. The reception will be in the barn. We will keep everyone posted on any changes due to weather.
Funky formal! September in Maine is a beautiful time, while it may be warm during the day temperatures can drop into the evening.
We love your littles, but this is an adult only party. We hope you'll enjoy a weekend away!
There will be no plus-ones unless explicitly stated on your invitation. We have a large guest list and hope you understand!
Yes, we have rented school buses, which will pick up at Aloft Hotel and bring people to the venue. They will also bring everyone back to Aloft at the end of the night. Please make sure to let us know of you will be needing the shuttle service so we can make sure we have enough seats!
No, we will be having a non-traditional style food service. We will have stations ongoing through the night, with the idea that you can eat/grab food when you are hungry. There will be seating for everyone so that you will have a place to leave bags/jackets/phones/anything else you've brought. If you have any food allergies/intolerances, please reach out to us via rubyandpatrickoshea@gmail.com.
We'll post our registry here when we're finished building it. Thank you in advance!
