Wedding Party

Corey Powell

Patrick's Best Man

Corey and I met while in graduate school at the Eastman School of Music. Despite overlapping by only one year, we kept each other sane during a very challenging time. I count our friendship as one of the greatest blessings of my life and we've been close friends ever since. Patrick takes credit for teaching Corey the fine art of drinking beer.

Connie Krieg

Matron of Honor

Connie and her husband, Mike, have seamlessly become a part of the Maurer family since relocating to Minnesota. Our bond formed when I joined the Radisson Conference Center as a sous chef. Together with Connie, Mike, and our dear friend Marlys, we shared countless moments, from festive Breakfasts with Santa to cheering on high school sports and celebrating graduations. Now, 25 years on, I am delighted to have Connie by my side as my Matron of Honor.

Our first weekend road trip lead us WI Dells.
Our first day trip was to New Ulm, MN. The August Schell Brewing visit included peacocks, brewery tour, tasting room and a couple of games of pool at a local establishment.
A Saturday road trip to St. Croix Falls. Highway 8 to WI was full of surprises. First we found a cheese shop & antique store. Then came the Franconia Sculpture Park & the St. Croix River trails.
Patrick moves from South Minneapolis to Brooklyn Park. Our first Thanksgiving in his new home!
One of many Valentine’s Dinners. This year we went to Pittsburgh Blue in Maple Grove.
Patrick is celebrating his 45th birthday!
Our first outdoor concert at Target Field. This was one of our favorites with music from Backstreet Boys, Nelly, and Florida Georgia Line. We’ve returned many times! ❤️ Target Field Concerts!
Christmas celebrations!
