Will the Reception be at the SAME venue as the Ceremony?

Answer

No. The Ceremony will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, VA. It is about a 30-40 min. drive from the Church to the Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA.

What is the dress code?

Dress Code: GARDEN FORMAL Our wedding ceremony will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and reception will be held in the Atrium at the Meadowlark Botanical Garden. Both events will be held indoors but guests are welcome to explore the botanical garden as well during our reception, so please dress with comfort and elegance in mind. For women: Think flowing dresses, florals/frills, elegant silhouettes and breathable fabrics that are comfortable to dance and move in. Please see "Dress Code" section for examples. For men: Summer suit (lightweight and breathable). Tie optional. NOTE: Please no white, red, or extremely pale yellow (if it looks white in a photo, please don't wear it). When in doubt, ask the couple (preferably the Bride). Thank you ❤️

Of course, are you kidding?! We will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.
