How We Met

First Comes Summer School, Then Comes Marriage

One summer, amidst the buzz of a busy school year, fate had a plan. She took a job at a summer school program, unaware it would change her life. For him, it was love at first sight—so much so that he nervously spilled water on his laptop. She, however, barely noticed him. Two weeks passed with little interaction until she spotted him on Hinge. A mix of surprise and curiosity led to easy conversation, revealing shared interests, humor, and undeniable chemistry. At summer’s end, they went on their first date. Hours of laughter and effortless conversation confirmed what they both felt—this was something special. What began with a spilled drink and a chance match became a love story neither expected. Now, as they prepare for marriage, they remain grateful for the serendipitous summer that brought them together.

How he proposed

November 9, 2024

After a magical evening of live music, the melodies still echoed in their hearts as they walked through the door, hand in hand. Dinner had been perfect—filled with laughter, glances that spoke more than words ever could, and a warmth that lingered long after the last bite. She had no idea the night was about to become one of the most unforgettable of her life. In the quiet of their home, it was just the two of them. He handed her a book—not just any book, but one crafted with love and care. On the cover, her name. Inside, fifteen pages, each revealing a reason why he loved her. Each word felt like a piece of his soul, tenderly laid bare. As she turned the pages, tears welled up, each reason more heartfelt than the last. When she reached the final page, she looked up to find him holding a small box, his eyes shining with the kind of love stories are written about. In that intimate, perfect moment, he asked her to spend forever with him. And with all her heart, she said yes.
