Check in Thursday, August 17th after 3pm Check out Monday, August 21st at 11 am Arrive when you wish. Please let the bride and groom know what day and time you plan to arrive. PARKING Room for up to 7 cars (depending on size) in the driveway, with overflow parking available on-site in NorthStar. NO PARKING ON STREET.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both are located at Gar Woods Grill & Pier. The address is 5000 N Lake Blvd, Carnelian Bay, CA 96140 The ceremony will be on the lawn by the lake, a short walk from the restaurant and pier itself.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Black Tie Optional: Women - Floor length evening dress or fancy cocktail dress below knee or longer hem. Men - Sport coat/blazer with dress pants, suit, or optional tux, tie or bow tie.

What about transportation?
Answer
We are working on arranging group transportation from the rental home in Truckee, CA to the ceremony/reception site at Lake Tahoe. It is about a 20 min drive.

Northstar California Resort
Free, on-call, 24-hour Shuttle is available for our vacation home guests - door to door transport to all Northstar facilities. The property is less than a mile from the Northstar Village. Other things to note Guests have access to all of the Northstar Homeowners amenities and Recreation Center which includes: 3 outdoor hot tubs, olympic size kid’s swimming pool with new water play features, heated lap pool, tennis courts (Northstar Tennis Program rated in the top 25 resorts nationally), saunas+showers, game room with billiards/air hockey/ping pong, updated health and fitness center. *note: daily entry fee of $3/person for recreation center access Massage therapy also available, but for a more “luxe” experience we suggest going to the Ritz Carlton just up the hill for a massage.
Truckee Trolley
Another shuttle bus - Truckee Trolley - will take you to Truckee, an “old west” town filled with shopping and gourmet restaurants.
