Well, if you take the first two letters of PAtrick and the last three of kriSTA, you get PASTA! Patrick came up with it. Isn't he clever and funny?!
We’ll be covering all non-alcoholic drinks and alcoholic beverages up to a set limit. After that, a cash bar will be available for additional alcoholic drinks.
Your presence alone is gift enough and we therefore have not built a registry.
Unfortunately, we can only accommodate those named on the invitations at the ceremony and reception. All are however welcome to come to the picnic on Saturday, please just give us a heads up so that we are able to plan accordingly.
Yes, Krista plans to hyphenate and will be Krista Murphy-O’Connor.
The deadline for RSVP is the 17th of August.
We prefer for you to arrive before 11:45am to ensure that everyone can be seated before the noon start time. Please do not arrive before 11:30. If you arrive after 12, you will not be seated and will miss the ceremony.
No, we ask that you put your phones (and cameras) away during the duration of the ceremony. We have two professional photographers that will be in attendance to take photographs which we will share with everyone so there is no need for additional photos. Please sit back and enjoy the moment.
The best parking is a parking ramp located at 11 S 4th St or 509 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403. This ramp has access to the Lumber Exchange Building. There are two entrances one at each address above.
There is a parking lot across the street from the Lumber Exchange building at 509 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55402 (in front of the Bob Dylan Mural) where you can park and cross the street and enter the building from the sidewalk. This is the only ADA entrance that has access to the elevator that brings you to the wedding location on the third floor.
Hotel
We have a block reserved at a discount rate at the Embassy Suites in downtown Minneapolis. The venue and the light rail to the airport are just a bock away.
Walking the length of the creek from the Falls to the the River or vis versa is one of our faverate things to do year round. The park is also where we will be hosting our non-rehersal dinner picnic. The park also houses a restaurant favorite of ours, Seasalt. There is parking in verious areas of the park or the park can also be reached from the 50th Street / Minnehaha Falls stop on the Light Rail Blue Line.
This is probably our very favorite restaurant! You could also visit one of their other locations under the same name or Nong's.
If you are looking for way too much ice cream this place is exactly what you are looking for! Just a heads up, they only take cash.
This is another great park that we love, and it is where we went on our first date!
This old school Jewish Delicatessen is one of our very favorite lunch spots and the supplier of food for our second date.
