Maid of Honor

Both assigned to the 372nd Engineer Brigade, Holly and Parker initially bonded over a dislike of Wisconsin summers. Known by their favorite enlisted Soldiers as "The Good Captains", they were assigned to be roommates on deployment to Kuwait. But, Holly is very good at her job, and she was assigned to different installations throughout deployment so they spent just a few days as roommates. Holly has since been promoted, but still the better half of The Good Captains.

Parker's oldest friend, she and Joe met as teenagers in Civil Air Patrol. While Joe was much more interested in Search and Rescue, they were, and still are, sticklers for the rules (nerds). Joe serves in the Air Force and brings Parker her favorite Haribo snacks from Germany when he's able to travel there, instead of his usual Antarctica trips. He has a very cool job.

Mallory and Parker met at New England Law | Boston and participated in student government together. Many evenings were spent at The Ave in Allston, discussing budgets and parliamentary procedures. Together with Mallory's husband, they represented all three west coast states in Boston - West Coast, Best Coast!

Another Sounders fanatic, Lars and Dave met while Parker was deployed. Dave was explaining our unusual relationship, and Lars just said, "Does she make you happy? Then nothing else matters!" So, of course, he's going to marry us. :)
