As the bride’s sister, I’ve had a front-row seat to all of Oyin’s greatest moments—whether that was mastering the art of stealing her clothes or finding the love of her life. From childhood shenanigans to wedding planning chaos, I’ve been by her side through it all, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything (except maybe unlimited naps). Beyond being her built-in best friend, I’m a nursing student, dialysis technician, a proud mom, wife, and now, the person making sure she doesn’t trip down the aisle. Being part of this special day means the world to me, and I can’t wait to celebrate Oyindamola and Andy as they start this next chapter—because let’s be real, I’ve been waiting my whole life to give this speech!

When Andy told me he was going to propose to Oyin, my first response was to scream and jump everywhere. Anyone watching me would have thought I ran mad. My second was, wait o, Andy, how do you expect me to keep this huge secret from my bestfriend for months. I was so excited for Oyin and excited to celebrate with both of you. Meeting the one for you was not an easy journey for Oyin. I remember both of us talking in the car one Sunday afternoon, for probably about 2 hours, on relationships, heartbreaks and finding the one. There was a lot of tears that day. But we didn’t know that God was bringing her bones of bones . The one for her. Her true Amor. Oyin and Andy, your love transcends time, your love for each other is an inspiration. I love how you show each other in both big declarations and little details that you pick one another. I believe love is intentionally showing up everyday for the other, through good and not so good times, always being the biggest cheerleader for the other. And guys, y’all are getting A+ on that. I pray that as you are entering this new phase, the foundation you’ve been building will not crumble, it will stand strong , and your love shall continue to grow. Amor meets Ife is not just a hashtag, it is what you both shall continue to enjoy forever in Jesus Name. Guyssss, my bestie is marrying her bestie and I can’t wait to cheer on them.

My name is Happiness, one of Oyin’s longtime friends, we go way back to 2014 in college, Oyin has been that great friend, the one you can count on for real laughs, and just the right amount of drama to keep life interesting. Fast forward to when I visited Atlanta and met Andy, From the moment I saw them together, I just knew. The connection was instant, like a real-life rom-com but with better vibes and less awkward background music. Andy was so kind, warm, genuine, and the way he looked at her, cared for her, made her laugh? I remember saying in my head “These two are definitely getting married”. It’s been so beautiful watching their love grow, and I’m honestly so honored (and slightly emotional!) to be chosen as a bridesmaid. Like, me? In this love story? I met Oyin through Funmi back in December of 2019. Funny enough it was her 22nd birthday and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to post pictures. Funmi and I did our best hyping but ultimately we just had a fun hangout. Even though she didn’t really know me, she made sure that I felt welcome. To me, that embodies who God made Oyin to be. Her beauty is not only outside but inside as well. Overcoming negative experiences together has made me more grateful for her friendship. While pregnant, she showed me how to use cricut, gave me new snacks to try, and gave me a pedicure. I can’t wait to return the favor sometime soon (wink wink). If you don’t already know about Oyin, I can vouch that she is extremely kind, funny, and understanding. I’m glad that I can support her in both weddings but I would have been just fine sweeping money on her behalf. Can’t wait until 10-25-25
