Dalton and Kat first met February 2016 at Fort Eustis, Virginia. They became quick smoke‑pit friends. Dalton later left for Fort Hood that May, and Kat followed shortly in July. Their first date came in 2017 to Whataburger, where Dalton masterminded an overly complicated plan to steal the table tent. It worked, of course—and with that tiny act of mischief, their adventure began. Now, after two Army careers, two deployments, one Raymond, one brand‑new ACL, five moves, one spinal disc replacement, two college graduations, two new jobs, and ten years together, they’re finally going to say, “I do."
