2018 - We first locked eyes on someone else's video call... Our love story began in the background of a video call between my best friend and his brother. Interest soon sparked but GOD had other plans - It was not the right time. March 2020 - He made the first move I moved to Windhoek for my first year at University - posting a photo of the green grass on Instagram, Owen replies : "One thing about Unam is that their grass makes it look like the universities overseas." A CONNECTION WAS MADE :) - But God said - It is not the right time. October 2020 - I made the right move! I moved back to Walvis Bay and that's when I saw the boy I like is also at the coast so I decide to make a bold move! - MESSAGE SENT: "Hi Owen, kom kuier jy my more?" GOD SAID: It's finally time for you to meet! 8 August 2021 - Owen finally says the three magic words "I LOVE YOU" and without surprise I SAY IT BACK and we are now 'OFFICIAL' 28 September 2025 - He pops the question Red roses and red wine What could compare to the feeling of knowing we both want forever He went down on one knee AND said: WILL YOU MARRY ME?
