Things To Do

Of all the places in the world, San Diego is our favorite. We hope you're able to make a mini-vacation out of your trip and visit some of our favorite spots to eat & explore. **If you have specific things you'd like to do/eat, just text us and we'll send some ideas!

Torrey Pines Gliderport

2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037

Great spot for an easy walk along the La Jolla cliffs, to enjoy the sunset or even make your way down to the beach. This is where we did our engagement photos!

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - La Jolla

5627 La Jolla Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92037

Our favorite coffee shop in the U.S.

La Jolla Tide Pools

La Jolla, CA 92037

The best time to go is low tide when you can see the marine life floating in the small pools left by the rocky shore. Like a natural aquarium :)

LJ Crafted Wines

5621 La Jolla Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037

Our favorite local wine tasting room.

Black's Beach

PSA: this is technically a nude beach - don't say we didn't warn you! The hike down to it is a trek but so worth it. Enjoy watching the surfers catch some waves, gliders float above, sun tan on the sand or bring pizza for a dinner on the beach.

Wayfarer Bread & Pastry

5525 La Jolla Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92037

A MUST visit but we highly recommend getting here early (like, before it opens) as there's always a line and when they sell out, they're out!

Point Loma Seafoods

2805 Emerson Street, San Diego, CA 92106

If you're a seafood person, this is a must!

Leilani's Cafe

5109 Cass St, San Diego, CA 92109

Our favorite spot for Hawaiian Cuisine.

Oscars Mexican Seafood

746 Emerald Street, San Diego, CA 92109

(can you tell we love seafood when in SD)

Balboa Park

San Diego, CA

Beautiful park to explore and family friendly.

Windansea Beach

San Diego, CA 92037

Beautiful, locals beach to watch the surfers & sunset! We recommend going at low tide as the waves can get pretty intense (wouldn't consider this a swimming beach).

Sea caves kayaking

2222 Avenida De La Playa, La Jolla, CA 92037

My sister, Anna, and I did this and it was a blast! Kayak around the La Jolla Ecological Preserve + La Jolla Sea Caves with a guide.

The Taco Stand

621 Pearl Street, San Diego, CA 92037

Great tacos
