It’s hard to believe Cam and I met in high school 10 years ago! He was a stand-out senior student-athlete and leaving for Harvard to play football and I was newly committed to Virginia Tech to play soccer. We had a few short months together before he left and we packed as much fun and time together as we could! We spent a good deal of time apart throughout college growing as individuals. Cam graduated from Harvard while I was at Virginia Tech and once I graduated, I still had two seasons of eligibility left. So, I transferred to Oklahoma and continued to play while earning my MBA. Meanwhile, Cam started his post-grad career in Baltimore and then COVID hit. While he was back in Charlotte, I was also home not yet knowing if a soccer season would exist in the Big 12. That’s when I receieved a text asking if I would see him. We reconnected and the rest is history. While I was in Oklahoma and Cam in Baltimore, he traveled across the Big 12 to watch me play every couple weeks and was nicknamed by my team as "OU soccer’s #1 fan"! We’ve been back together 4.5 years. Two job changes and two moves later, we currently work and live in Manhattan. In May 2024 while surrounded by family in Mykonos, Greece, Cam proposed, and now, we’re ready for our next adventure. Italy is calling, and we’d love for you to join us in Ravello to celebrate our commitment to forever! -Olivia

Flight
Naples International Airport is around 1+ hour from Ravello and has many direct flight options from the US. Rome is also a great direct flight option and may run slightly cheaper with more direct options than Naples. If you’re planning to be in the area before/after the wedding and you don't mind taking a high-speed train between Rome and Naples (you can also use a transfer/driver) as well, Rome is a great option. Please see the FAQ page for transportation advice from Naples to Ravello. Most of you will likely take a transfer (driver) from Naples to Ravello. The transfer fee from Naples to Ravello varies based on size of car and amount of people. We will provide recommendations from our wedding planner in the coming months.
Hotel
Villa Maria is just steps away from our wedding location! A beautiful hotel with stunning views and breakfast included in your stay. You may contact the hotel directly or email booking@wagnertours.it to see if there are any rooms available for our events.
Hotel
Hotel Giordano is also just steps away from our wedding venue and very close to the piazza with breakfast included! Contact Hotel Giordano directly or email booking@wagnertours.it to check on availability for our dates.
Travel Note
Our wedding planner can provide you any availability and pricing of additional villas and B&B's in Ravello should you prefer this type of accommodation. Feel free to also check VRBO and Airbnb for more vacation rentals in Ravello. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE TO STAY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF VILLA EVA THE 3 DAYS SURROUNDING OUR WEDDING EVENTS! Ravello sits atop a cliff and is mostly a pedestrian town with many stone paths. Villa Eva sits at the highest point. When considering properties, ask how far the walk is to/from Villa Eva, nearby Villa Rufolo and the piazza (town square) or if the property can organize transportation to the drop-off area outside the piazza. A 100-200 meter walk from any property is not bad. If you have a rental car that cannot be parked at your property or you are coming from a stay outside of Ravello, you will have to park on lower streets just outside the piazza or in the Oscar Niemeyer parking garage at 2-3 euros per hour and walk the remaining distance (not recommended but can be done with extra time). Most commonly, if visiting Ravello or staying outside the town, transfers/drivers drop visitors off just outside the piazza near Villa Rufolo and you walk the remaining distance to your property or to our venue. It’s a beautiful walk but you will need to have your destination pulled up on your phone to guide you (or ask a local to point you in the right direction!) For more info, availability and rates on specific properties, please email: info@wagnertours.it, contact the property directly or visit VRBO and Airbnb platforms for 2026 availability.
Hotel
This property is owned and operated by Pascal and Madalina. They also own Palazzo Pascal (the location of our Welcome Party and luxury villa suites), the 5-star restaurant on property, Gli Ulivi and Ceramic d’Arte, our favorite ceramics shop in Ravello. Casa Dolce Casa is a short walk to Ravello’s piazza, meticulously decorated and maintained with large rooms, amazing breakfasts (included) and amazing sea views.
Hotel
This villa is situated in Scala with the most beautiful nearby view of Ravello, the mountains and the sea. We will hold our welcome party here the first night. If you are looking for a luxury experience with incredible customer service and a stay with impeccable attention to detail, this is your place. All rooms and decor were either made or deigned by Pascal and Madalina. Check their website for availability and if you contact them directly they will give you a 10% discount as an Odle/Tripp wedding guest.
Train
Both options are great. The travel time is 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes to/from Naples Céntrale train station. Several departures per day.
Visit the RSVP section of the website to RSVP for each event. We ask that you complete this RSVP as soon you know your response so we can get an accurate headcount for each event. Feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions. The deadline is February 1 but we hope to hear from you before then if possible.
If you have not booked rooms at our recommended hotels, you can also search Airbnb options or contact our wedding planner for help as soon as you can! Most all short-term rentals in Ravello would be available for bookings for the 2026 season now. Please use the website address we’ve provided in the travel section to learn more about the hotels, rooms and villas available through our planner and please contact booking@wagnertours.it to understand current room availability and rates. Ideally, you will want to choose a stay that is within walking distance of the venue (+/- 200 meters). Ravello is a pedestrian town, hilly and with mostly cobblestone paths and steps. Visit the travel section on the website for more information and additional suggestions. We have also stayed at casa dolce casa apartments, a short walk from the town center with a beautiful view of the coastal cliffs and sea. Although not located inside the town, it is still walkable and owned by our Palazzo Pascal Welcome Party hosts and our favorite ceramics shop owners in town. Visit www.casadolcecasaravello.it.
La Dolce Vita Welcome Dinner: Ladies - Think Italian/coastal semi-formal, summer evening midi/maxi dresses, don't be afraid of colors, patterns, and textures. Guys - Think light linen suits or dress shirts/dress pants, no tie or jacket necessary. Toast on the Amalfi Coast: Think daytime yacht attire. Light, linen and breathable material, elevated resort wear, comfortable, non-marking, rubber-soled loafers/sandals, fun accessories and bring a swimsuit. Wedding & Reception: Ladies - Formal. We'd love to see you in elegant dresses (tea length, mid-length or full length) in early summer colors/textures/patterns. When choosing heels, be mindful that the walk to the venue is on stone paths. Guys - Formal. Suit and tie, light suit colors are welcome. **The wedding is primarily outdoors and includes aspects of stone and grass. If staying longer, you will need comfortable shoes, linen wear, hats, sunglasses and fun coastal outfits for your time in Italy. Positano has some of the best clothing shops for adding to your wardrobe and you can even find shops that create custom-made sandals while you wait!
The weather in Italy at the end of May should be wonderful! You can expect mid 70’s. It may be cooler in the evenings and on the water. There is a low chance of rain this time of year and the humidity is average. It’s truly a beautiful time to be there! Many trees and flowers are blooming this time of year. Consider allergy medicine if you have seasonal allergies.
Now! Or at least start tracking flights and prices. The flights for this time of year are currently available. We wanted to get our invitations to you early so you could take advantage of holiday flight deals and for the best seats you can find! Consider your overall travel plans and Italy experience to determine if flying directly into Naples or into Rome are your best options and check out the travel section of the website for more in depth recommendations.
No. Should you choose to rent a car from the airport, you must understand there is limited parking everywhere, roads are curvy and narrow and the traffic can be tight in peak season. If you plan to rent a car, we suggest you check with your property manager (if booking a short-term rental) to find out if there is parking available to you. We have included resources for transfers from the airport to Ravello in our travel section. In general, having a driver is the most common way to move about the Amalfi Coast with some upfront planning. From the airport you can reach Ravello by car or by boat to Amalfi and then would need to transfer from there. Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Amalfi are all connected on a ferry schedule to one another. Good to know if you are planning to be in the area before or after the wedding. The most direct route however is by car through the mountains or by coast.
The ETIAS visa requirements are running behind so a passport should be all you need. The currency in Italy is euros. We encourage you to make arrangements before you leave the states to understand your credit card requirements, cell phone requirements and exchange rates. Most Italians speak English so you should not worry about a language barrier. You can also consider an international drivers license if you plan to rent a car although we were not asked to show one last time we visited.
We absolutely love your little ones and completely understand if you’re hoping to make this a family trip! That said, most of our wedding weekend events are designed with adults in mind — including a cliffside welcome party and a 3–4 hour private boat day — both of which may not be ideal or enjoyable for young children. Children are warmly welcome at the wedding itself, but we kindly ask that the other events remain adults-only so everyone can relax and fully enjoy what we have planned. Please reach out to Cam or Olivia directly if you have questions or need guidance!
Feel free to text us directly if you have any dietary concerns/restrictions!
Tour the streets! Visit the shops! Tour Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo! Grab a drink at Palazzo Avino. Eat and don’t leave Ravello without some custom-made ceramics. The hosts of our welcome party have the most beautiful handmade ceramics shop, Ceramiche d’Arte Pascal Ravello. Please visit them and enjoy the hospitality!
Absolutely! In addition to the 3 days of wedding events, you could enjoy more of the coast in just a few extra days. We recommend you put the wedding events in the middle of your Amalfi coast visit or at the end if possible! Why? Although traveling TO Italy tends to be easier than traveling BACK from Italy, they are 6 hours ahead. This time difference will catch up with you. Ideally, we recommend a non-stop, overnight flight and if possible avoid coming straight from the airport to Ravello on the same day as the welcome party. It would make for a very long travel day plus a big event! The trip from the airport to Ravello is 1+ hour along a very busy, curvy coastal road or a curvy road through the mountains. Both routes are beautiful, but it can be a lot straight off a flight. Recommendations: If you can come in a few days early or stay a few days later, you must visit Pompeii/Mt. Vesuvius. It is near the Naples airport and not far from the train station and is worth the tour, even straight off your flight or train! Stay a night or two in beautiful Sorrento and from there you can ferry to Capri for the day and/or Ischia for a day. Both islands are just so beautiful and rich in history, culture, food and views. Capri is more well-known and quicker to get to by ferry. Sorrento is a great town to stay in. It’s centrally located, more affordable than some of the other towns and is the hub for ferry routes. Positano is a must see! A stunning beach town on the way to Ravello known for its famous painted hillside. The food, shopping, beach, views, iconic landmarks, hotels and restaurants are not to be missed! If you have time to stay a couple nights here it is worth it! The drive from Positano to Ravello is very beautiful and you will pass through more beautiful towns such as Praiano and Amalfi with a view of the sea the entire way. If you have more time to spend beyond the Amalfi coast and have not yet been to Rome, we recommend Rome on the front or back end!
The 3 days surrounding our wedding are mostly planned for you. We have arranged for transports between events when needed. There will be extra time while in Ravello to explore! Beyond our wedding events, we hope you will more fully enjoy the area!! The Amalfi Coast is full of beauty and things to do. Please lean on our website for ideas and updates and reach out to our good friend Bartolo Giusto, an experienced, trusted and respected tour guide and transfer in the region (30 years). Our wedding planner, Wagner Tours can also help coordinate activities, trips, tours and transfers with many years experience. Ummm…yes! If you are able and time and means allow, intra-country travel is pretty easy in Italy and between European countries by both smaller airlines, train or renting a car and controlling your own schedule! The Amalfi Coast is worth immersing yourself in beyond the 3 days of our wedding. The Puglia region is not far from the Amalfi Coast and although it is lesser traveled and known, it is definitely on our list! Rome can be done in 2-3 days! You can’t go wrong with the Tuscan region added on to your Rome visit! Without knowing how much time you have, we would always recommend Venice and the Dolomites even if a different trip! Venice has a great airport with many direct flights from the US. And Venice has many smaller airlines that fly direct between Venice and Naples daily! We hope however you plan your trip for our wedding it includes as much beauty and culture Italy has waiting for you! Tip: intra-country travel in Italy via the airlines may not look and feel like the US. You are often brining your luggage on board and boarding in general may not be as organized or orderly as the US. Definitely need to be prepared to exercise some patience and be as agile with your luggage as possible! The good news is the flights aren’t very long!!
