A true bumble love story, after both swiped right on some pretty impressive profiles… Olivia initiated the conversation with “Soooo the army?” On September 3, 2022. It took 100 messages and 3 days before Olivia spilled her entire life to Brandon. By September 9, Olivia already stood Brandon up on their first attempted date because she “had strep throat”. On September 10, they had their first date at a local Oktoberfest Festival where she was lucky enough to meet Steve AND Fred at the same time.

After a successful first date, the next week consisted of a dinner to Hickory Tavern and then a Koe Wetzel concert. A few more dates over the next weeks led to Olivia flying back from Nate and Alyssa’s wedding at the same time Brandon was flying out to Alaska. At the Charlotte Douglas Airport at a bar in Concourse D, Brandon was patiently waiting for Olivia’s plane to land. Once she finally arrived, she found him at the bar and that’s when they started dating! Brandon was almost late for his flight.

The Hawaii trip was a defining trip in the history of Brandon and Olivia. It was Brandon’s 30th Birthday when they arrived in Hawaii and Olivia’s 29th Birthday when they left. After spending a little over a week in Hawaii, Olivia was convinced she wanted to move there. The most romantic, relaxing and tropical place they’d been together. They knew they needed to go back.

After a quick dynamic 18-months of dating - meeting so many family and friends, traveling to Hawaii, a bunch of road trips to Wilmington, multiple concerts and weddings, moving a couple times, a couple different jobs and things started to settle down. Brandon ended up proposing to his realtor in the back yard of the first house she sold.
