Please continue to check our website for updated details of our big day!
I can’t remember the first time I met Molly—she’s always just been there, a familiar presence in my life. Growing up on Pewaukee Lake, our paths often crossed through sailing and summer days on the water. But it wasn’t until the summer of 2020 that I truly got to know her. At the time, we were both working in commercial real estate and living in downtown Milwaukee. When Molly’s car was out of commission after her parents hit a deer up north on the way to Henry's ski race, she started asking me for rides back to the local ski hills because we were both coaching high school ski racing and then rides back to Pewaukee. What began as casual conversations in the car turned into weekend plans on the lake. At first, we were just friends, but I quickly found myself looking forward to every moment with her. Molly has an incredible way of making everyone around her feel special—she lights up a room without even trying. Anyone who knows her understands exactly what I mean. One evening, we went for a sunset sail on my C Scow with a cotton sail. We talked for what felt like hours, as if time had slowed just for us. I saw in her the same values that matter most to me—loyalty, integrity, and a deep love for family and friends. We both share a passion for adventure, an appreciation for life’s simple joys, and a drive to build a meaningful future. The more I got to know her, the more I admired her kindness. Not long after, I asked her on an official date. That summer, our friendship grew into something more, and we quickly became inseparable. We spent nearly every day together, even quarantining in a small “crew” with her friends Emily and Cortney. When she left for a family sailing trip around the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior, we both felt the weight of even a few days apart. Later that summer, I took Molly to my family’s property in Snowmass, Colorado—a special place that has always been a big part of my life. I wanted her to see it through my eyes and understand why it meant so much to me. I’m so grateful she came because it was on that trip that we officially became a couple. From that moment on, we were a team. Molly became my partner in crime, my third crew on the sailboat, my best BBQ taste tester, and the person who taught me to drink rosé and (somewhat) keep up with a packed social calendar. We were two kids falling in love and making the most of every moment. I got to know her family and friends, she got to know mine. We loved every minute of it. The deeper we got into each other’s lives, the more we liked what we saw. Then came the hardest chapter—Molly’s move to Colorado. I knew it was a dream she had to follow, and I supported her wholeheartedly, even though it meant doing long distance. We made it work for nearly three years, talking every day, making the most of our visits, and learning to cherish even the smallest moments together. But goodbyes at the airport never got easier. In 2024, Molly moved back home, and I knew I never wanted to say goodbye again. She is my best friend, my greatest adventure, and the love of my life.
We thank our parents for their continued love and support. Parents of the Bride Terri Mahoney-Ogden & Peter Ogden Parents of the Groom Cindy Ziegler-Fritz & Tom Fritz and the late John Timothy Ziegler
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
There are 2 small parking lots at the church. We recommend carpooling. One lot is on Astor St., and one is around the back of the church entrance off of Astor St. Street parking is also an option but may be limited. We will run a few shuttles from the Ogden & Company, Inc. office (1665 N Water Street, Milwaukee WI 53202). A small shuttle will leave the office at 12:40 PM to allow all guests to find their seats before the ceremony. Milwaukee's famous Air and Water Show with the US Navy Blue Angels will be taking place at the Lakefront this weekend so please dedicate extra time for navigation and parking.

If you are flying to Wisconsin for the wedding, the closest major airport hub is Milwaukee's General Mitchell Airport. It's about 35 minutes from the location of the reception and about 20 minutes from the ceremony location. A rental car is recommended.
Flight
O'Hare Airport is another option and there is a shuttle bus that departs almost hourly to a few Milwaukee locations, including very close hotels.
Milwaukee's public market has a variety of food options, a wine bar, WI-based products and gift options, souvenirs and treats to take home!
Cody and Molly agree—this is the best farmers market in Wisconsin! West Bend holds a special place in Cody’s heart, as the Ziegler family has deep roots in the community. While exploring the market, you can find a plaque of Cody’s great grandfather B.C. Ziegler on main street. Stroll through the charming downtown streets, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, and shop from an incredible selection of local Wisconsin vendors!
A fun event downtown Milwaukee happening on the 19th and 20th. The Water Show begins at 10:00am on Saturday. The US NAVY Blue Angels will make their appearance at 3:00pm across the lakefront.
Lake Country is filled with recreation, shopping, dining and...lakes! all within 5-15 minutes from the reception! Check out two recently redeveloped nearby cities: Delafield and Oconomowoc. Both boast Saturday morning farmers markets. Visitors are traveling from afar to the City of Delafield to walk the downtown streets of this New England inspired destination for shopping and dining on Nagawicka Lake. Downtown Pewaukee is much smaller where you can watch the boaters and swimmers enjoy the beach and visit the few restaurants and shops. A gem in the TOWN of Delafield just south of the reception is Gwenyn Hill organic farm that was saved from development for all to enjoy. There is a charming small self-serve market (easy to miss) and plenty of acreage of pastures, fields and animals to enjoy. Very close to the reception, enjoy two of our local favorite bar / restaurants: Gina's Sports Dock and Sunset Grill on the shores of Pewaukee Lake.
Charming renovated farm house in downtown Delafield where Molly and Cody went on their first date!

If you are up for a hike, check out the trails close to downtown Delafield. The backside of Lapham Peak (off Cushing Park Road, south of the downtown) offers easy access free trails. Lapham Peak (off Highway C south of I-94) is a state park that boasts the original weather information station with its tall tower.
Very close to the reception, enjoy two of our local favorite bar / restaurants: Gina's Sports Dock and Sunset Grill on the shores of Pewaukee Lake.
The new Commodore restaurant on the shores of Lake Nagawicka is a beautiful spot to enjoy dinner (with a reservation) or a drink at the bar.
A delicious restaurant right along the lake with craft cocktails and gourmet food.
Along the east side of the lake is Pewaukee's beach where you can paddleboard, kayak, swim or just walk along the water stopping by shops and restaurants.
Your attendance at the wedding ceremony at Immanuel is very important to the Ogden and Ziegler families especially the Bride and Groom! We highly encourage carpooling as there are a limited number of spots in the small church lot located off Astor Street and a back parking lot behind the church. Lucky for us, the Milwaukee Air & Water Show is taking place that weekend and the Blue Angels will be soaring the sky at 3:00 pm. Street parking will be challenging and traffic into Milwaukee and around these streets will be slower than normal, so please give yourself extra transit time!
The wedding ceremony will be held downtown Milwaukee. Immanuel is a part of Milwaukee's history as it is the oldest congregation in the city. Missionaries John and Jane Ogden were the founding couple to build the landmark in the heart of the city. You will see a plaque in their honor in the back of the church. We are so pleased to honor tradition and our Ogden relatives. Molly is the seventh generation of Ogden's to be married at Immanuel! Your attendance to the ceremony is important to our families. Please see the ceremony parking tab for important parking information on this busy summer day in Milwaukee.
Yes! We will celebrate the day outside, rain or shine!
Our wedding is ELEVATED ELEGANCE! DRESSY! Black-tie Optional. We want you to dress your finest and be excited about your outfit. You know Molly loves to dress fancy and fun! Women, please note that we will be on grass. Men, please wear suits and ties, no shorts or khakis.
Parking will be on the grass just east at Oakton Manor and the lawn of the home just west of the Ogden family property. You can enjoy the stroll to the property once you park your car or catch a golf cart shuttle down Happy Hollow Road. You may get dropped off at our home at the end of the driveway, but no parking is available onsite. No boat parking will be available on dock. Check back in closer to our big day for parking map!
Even though the ceremony is downtown Milwaukee, we suggest staying closer to the reception in the "lake country" area which is in Waukesha County about a half hour from Milwaukee (longer with traffic). There are many hotels all within 10-ish minutes from the Ogden property, both east and west as well as VRBOs / Airbnbs in the area. We have listed a few on the Travel page, but there are many more options that you are welcome to check out. Summer is busy in the lake country area so we suggest booking your lodging soon.
