Our Story
In July 2020, Michael and Kate matched on Bumble and went on their first date at Books & Brews, bonding over board games and trivia. That summer, in the midst of COVID, they spent countless nights in watching movies and truly getting to know one another. In spring 2021, they took their first weekend trip together to attend a friend’s wedding in Kentucky and explore the bourbon trail. By July 2022, they challenged themselves by hiking Mt. Quandary, a 14er that tested their endurance and showed them they could get through tough moments side by side. In April 2024, Kate and Michael moved in together, marking a new chapter together and making Michael a cat dad to Rory. Michael proposed in March 2025 down in Bloomington, and just a few months later, in July 2025, they purchased their first home.

Question
Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
Answer
The ceremony will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana. The church is located at 10655 Haverstick Road, Carmel, IN 46033. The reception will be held at The Bluffs at Conner Prairie in Fishers, Indiana. It is located at 13080 Allisonville Rd, Fishers, IN 46038.

Are kids welcome?

We ask that children attend only if their names are included on your invitation. Thank you for understanding as we work to create a comfortable and enjoyable celebration for all of our guests.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Because of limited space, we kindly ask that only those listed on your wedding invitation attend. If you were given a plus-one, their name will appear with yours when you RSVP.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We kindly request that guests dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. We ask that jeans or denim be avoided, as well as any shades of white, to help keep the focus on the wedding party.

Yes! We are delighted to provide an open bar for our guests throughout the evening. Please enjoy responsibly and don’t hesitate to ask the bartenders if you need recommendations or non-alcoholic options. There are also a select few Bud Light Limes available upon request for those hardcore Rod Tuffcurls fans
