Travel

Lodging in Asheville While we absolutely love visiting Asheville, we’ve actually never stayed in a hotel here! With so many incredible Airbnb and VRBO options, we’ve always enjoyed getting into the mountains and soaking up a more secluded, peaceful experience. That said, the hotel options we’ve listed are conveniently located near the beautiful home where we’ll be celebrating our wedding, making them a great choice for easy access to the festivities. Best Airports to Fly Into The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), about a 25–30 minute drive to Fletcher, NC. Another great option is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), which offers more flight options and is about a 2–2.5 hour drive to Fletcher.

FAQs

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are so excited to be joining two families, and that means celebrating with the people who matter most to us, kids included. We would love for you to bring your children and enjoy the weekend together as one big family. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and your loved ones!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! We’d love for you to dress up and have fun with it, think polished yet relaxed. Suits are optional for men; a button-down with dress pants or a blazer works beautifully. Women are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses or elevated dressy outfits. Dress for comfort, celebration, and a lot of love.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are your best options for getting to and from the celebration. There is parking available at the house, and if possible, we kindly encourage carpooling—more laughs on the ride and easier parking once you arrive!

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We’re excited to serve up a true taste of North Carolina! Dinner will feature a delicious pig roast from a local NC BBQ spot, slow-cooked and full of flavor. It’s a nod to the state we’re celebrating in and a way to share some of our favorite local flavors with you. Get ready for a feast, some great sides, and plenty of good vibes as we celebrate together!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Lodging in Asheville While we absolutely love visiting Asheville, we’ve actually never stayed in a hotel here! With so many incredible Airbnb and VRBO options, we’ve always enjoyed getting into the mountains and soaking up a more secluded, peaceful experience. That said, the hotel options we’ve listed are conveniently located near the beautiful home where we’ll be celebrating our wedding, making them a great choice for easy access to the festivities.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 3:00 PM, so we recommend arriving by 2:30 PM. This gives you time to get acquainted with the venue, enjoy a cocktail, and find your seats, so you’re ready to kick off the celebration with us!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have two signature cocktails, along with beer, wine, seltzers, and other drink options. Plenty of choices to toast, sip, and celebrate with us all night long!
