My name is Nikah Timothee and I am the Matron of Honor and older sister of the bride. Growing up, I referred to Kiriah as the "little big sister". Although she was my little sister, she was my protector. Despite her small size, she hated seeing other people getting bullied, and therefore; confronted the biggest of bullies (and trust me...there were some big ones. lol) and always won. Fun fact: When we were younger, our mom and Uncle Bummy banned Kiriah from watching Steven Seagal movies after famously beating up every little boy on our childhood street; including my first childhood boyfriend who made my "double dutch" rope hit me in my face as I was jumping (of course, he dumped me. Thanks sis lol) Although nowadays, she let's the Lord fight her battles and still protects us via prayer only; we know that no matter: who, what, or where; we can count on her to always "have our back". My name is Keiana Beattie and I am the Maid of Honor and best friend of the beautiful bride. I’ve known Kiriah for over a decade. She has always been my light at the end of the tunnel and I am so blessed I could be here to witness her on her new journey. Fun Fact: Did you know Kiriah walks around with Cayenne pepper in her bag lol. I first met Kiriah on Gratz street “GSM” lol about 23 years ago and I think it was meant to be. She is and will forever be the glue that holds me together. My favorite memory with Kiriah gotta be when she made me punch a lady because she thought she stole something out her car… btw we were in the laundry mat parking lot. My name is Christina and I am the sister in the law to the bride so I am a beloved bridesmaid. The first time Kiarah and I met as in our first ever interaction was very briefly at my cousin Kethlyn’s wedding shower but the first time we actually met and I was introduced to her as my brothers girlfriend was in October and my brother asked me to go to Philly with him so I could meet her. Some of my favorite things to do is dance, attend concerts,shows, events like red carpets and just have a good time. I love all the memories I have created with Kiarah so far and can’t wait to create even more in the future with her being my family but I think one of my favorite memories was when her and CJ spent thanksgiving weekend with us. We all just had a good time, ate some good food and went to the movies together.
