What should we wear?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place on the beach in the most beautiful location in front of the lighthouse. Most of the area is sanded, so comfortable cocktail attire and beach-appropriate shoes are your best bet. Honestly, no shoes might be fun 😉

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hoping for sun and shine but on the off chance there is rain, we are working on a plan to allow everyone to fit comfortably in our ceremony space. We will be celebrating afterwards at an AirBnb that should allow for everyone to fit nicely inside/on the decks which will be covered to shield the rain.

How do we get to the ceremony space if we’ve never been to LBI?

Answer

The address given should take you directly to the lighthouse. If you have any issues or don’t feel comfortable, reach out to one of us and we’ll gladly help! Once you arrive at the lighthouse, there will be signs directing you on where to go, so follow those signs for a good time!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at/around 3pm. We have the space blocked from 2pm-4pm to allow for guests to comfortably arrive at the space and find where to go. We do have a company coming out at 2pm to begin setting up chairs, our archway, and other things designed around comfortability for our guests so we ask you give them the space to do so, but by all means check out the lighthouse and surrounding area if you have some downtime. There’s a paved path to the left of the lighthouse which is a nice walk and has amazing views at the end.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We do! As of right now, we have rooms blocked off at Drifting Sands Hotel on the island. If more rooms are needed or you’re having trouble booking, call Miranda so we can reach out to other locations or Drifting Sands to try and help resolve the issue.

Will there be food and drinks at cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! We are planning to have Chick-Fil-A and drinks at the cocktail hour. It wouldn’t be a wedding without some delicious nuggets and fries in our opinion!

Question

Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will not be transportation offered from hotel to ceremony and back to hotels, but we are asking that guests reach out to us in advance if they’d like to be brought from the hotel to the reception spot and back after the reception is concluded. We will have some very responsible drivers acting as a “shuttle” to the designated hotel areas.
