Our story began in spring 2024 when we both swiped right on each other on Hinge. Nimmy, visiting Boston for a conference, decided to explore the dating scene on the East Coast. As anyone familiar with online dating knows, every match is a bit of a gamble. Most matches lead to short dates that quickly end. However, Jeff’s profile caught Nimmy’s eye, and she felt an instant connection, believing he was the perfect match for her preferences. (Note: Jeff wrote this section.) Jeff promptly responded to Nimmy’s interest, and he arranged a date for the last night of Nimmy's visit. Jeff took Nimmy to the most breathtaking sunset spot in Boston and effortlessly impressed her with his delightful ice cream choices. What could have been a simple enjoyable first and last date blossomed into texting and talking after Nimmy returned to Austin. Jeff, who frequently visited Austin, and Nimmy found themselves drawn to each other. Before we knew it, we had fallen in love. We shared our relationship with our parents, and they soon discovered shared connections. Through our shared love for sushi and travel, we grew closer and realized that we were complete opposite personalities destined to be together. Our journey began on a beautiful sunset, and it has since become a symbol of our love. Jeff found the most breathtaking sunset spot in Austin to propose to Nimmy. We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter of our lives with all of you by our side!
