Shane and Nikkoah originally met in their fifth-grade classroom at Lake Elementary. Time passed, and they had multiple classes together in highschool at RBV where Nikkoah would attempt to partner up with Shane any chance she got. Shane and Nikkoah both played waterpolo and were on the swim team. They even won third place together in a co-ed swim race (they still have the pendant to this day)! After many months of getting to know each other and fostering a friendship, Shane asked Nikkoah to be his date to Prom, where he eventually made their relationship official on May 20th, 2017. They have made many memories over the past seven years and have grown independently and together into the couple they are today. Shane and Nikkoah make an annual trip to Big Bear and it is a very special place for the two of them. This is where Shane popped the question, on January 10th, 2023, in the snow after a huge battle with some tricky snow chains. They are so excited for this next chapter of their lives together!
