How do I reserve a room at the venue available with your room block?

Answer

May 8, 2026 is the cutoff date to make a reservation using our room block. All attendees will make their own room block reservation through our personalized link: https://book.passkey.com/go/NikkiDrakeandGeorgeJones2026 - The group room billing has been arranged so that each guest will be responsible for their own charges. All reservation cancellations must occur at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one night’s room and tax penalty charge. Per contract, reservations are subject to a daily destination amenity fee of $35.00 per room per night. Room block availability: 5/29 - 10 rooms, 5/30 - 15 rooms, 5/31 - 5 rooms.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding events will take place at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors at the Coronado Terrace, and the reception will be held indoors in the San Diego Ballroom. We recommend wearing sunglasses for the outdoor events!

What is the dress code?

Our wedding attire is formal/black-tie optional. Here are some suggestions! Men: tuxedo or suit with dress shirt and tie, paired with dress shoes Women: floor-length gown, cocktail dress, or pantsuit/jumpsuit with heels

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Event parking is available at discounted rates. Currently, Self Parking $15/car. Valet Parking $19/car. Overnight rates are currently Self Parking $45/car. Valet Parking $65/car. Rates are subject to change.

Here is a detailed description of each of our entrées as you consider your meal preference. Each will be served with the vegetarian and gluten-free Nicoise Salad with arugula, fingerling potatoes, cage free hard-boiled eggs, olives, artichoke hearts, edamame, French beans, roasted tomatoes, and red wine vinaigrette. Up to 5 song requests per guest are allowed. Please submit them at https://djdremotion.djintelligence.com/guest/request/drake-jones-wedding. The access code for the guest request list is "DrakeJones" (without the quotes).
