See what had happened was, we clicked the wrong box. We met for lunch at Gloria's on March 12th after talking for about a week. On the first date, Nicole gave Karye her business card. Karye thought it was a networking event Nicole thought they would make great friends. In the first 2 months, we saw each other almost daily and didn't want our time together to end. We were in unchartered territory and didn't know what to do with our hands(metaphorically). This is not something we ever thought of or experienced before. All we knew was that we loved each other very much. We continued to grow our friendship and relationship. At this point, Karye found out that friendship was not a bad word :). July 5th was a turning point that deepened our relationship. From there we continued to learn more about each other and ourselves. Questioning if either of us could/would take the next step in our relationship. Welp! I guess we can :)...JK, I will continue our story now, On September 20th, 2024 we talked about if we could take that next step. I told Nicole I would have married her in June. She said Aww how sweet. That is where our wedding date came from and what I consider our actual proposal date. We proceeded to go on a bunch of dates and trips and had a blast. On November 27th I asked Nicole to marry me! She cried and said yes. The End and then she lectured me a little :)
