Please ensure that you have no oils or creams applied to the hands before your Mehndi appointment. Before henna application it's beneficial to gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells. A washcloth with neutral soap and water is recommended. Ensure your skin is free from oils and lotions immediately before applications as these can hinder best results. Once the henna is applied to the skin it will take up to 48 hours for the stain to oxidize and darken.
