Cayla and Josh first met in high school. Although they attended the same small school, their paths didn’t cross often at first. What began as a friendship soon grew into something more, leading them to share special milestones together ,including Josh’s senior prom in 2014 and Cayla’s in 2015. Life eventually led them down different paths, though they always kept in touch. Their story, however, was far from over. In 2024, God reunited Cayla and Josh, and their bond became stronger than ever. Josh welcomed Cayla’s daughter, Rylei, as his own and with steadfast love he entered her life with genuine care, dedication, and an open heart. On January 17, 2026, surrounded by family during a cozy game night planned with the help of Cayla’s mom and aunt, Josh asked Cayla to spend forever with him. She said yes ,and the next chapter of their love story began.
