Maid of Honor
Ash and I met back in college working for a popular wing restaurant in Anderson, S.C. We bonded over our shared love of Barbie movies and angsty teen music which would become our go-to playlist when getting ready for college parties. While Ash is into electrical engineering her hobbies include cooking delicious meals. One of my favorites is her stuffed shells.
Best Man
Josh and Nick have been friends since childhood, playing little league baseball in elementary school, skateboarding in middle school, mountain biking in high school, and backpacking beyond high school to now.
Bridesmaid
Meghan (or as I call her Megman) is my younger sister. She is the funny, tall one who can’t say no to shot gunning a beer.
Groomsman
Zach and Nick have been friends since middle school where they both enjoyed rocking out on the guitar. In high school, they eventually formed the metalcore band Ten Night Stay at the Overlook Hotel (TNS for short). While their rock star ambitions have made way for more pragmatic pursuits, they still enjoy sharing new and interesting musical finds on Spotify.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I met in 9th grade (entrepreneurship, I think?). We have experienced a lot of life together from HS cheer, attended/graduated Clemson together, lived together (then turned neighbors), volunteered together (Gamma sig), vacationed together (New Orleans, Nashville, Asheville, the lake) and made “beef” Wellington’s together. Emily and her husband, Jared, manifested my relationship with Nick… aka, they wrote my texts for me.
Groomsman
Alden and Nick have been friends since college where they both majored in Bioprocessing Science, a new and small program at NC State. After Nick moved to CA after college, Alden reached out about job opportunities out west. Nick helped connect Alden with a job at his company, CAI. While they both lived in Northern CA, if they weren’t at Genentech-Vacaville working, they were probably skiing, mountaineering, rock climbing, and/or cliff jumping in the Sierras.
Bridesmaid
Val and I also met in high school (9th grade biology class) and throughout all these years was always my +1 to events until Nick came along. Val (aka Sheldon) is easily the most dependable and supportive person to have ever existed. Life has thrown so many curve balls and I am always so thankful for her unwavering support. Everyone needs a Val.
Groomsman
Adam and Nick have been friends since 2015 when they met at a kayak rolling clinic. Adam was a whitewater kayaker and Nick was a sea kayaker although he eventually switched over to whitewater. They found they had similar tastes in music and frequently jammed out on the Sacramento open mic circuit.
Bridesmaid
Koby and I met in 2018 when I first moved to Raleigh at our job! I was talking to her one day in the lab about how hard it is to make friends as an adult and invited her to join my bumble bff date. Funny enough, I got stood up on bumble bff, and then it was just me and Koby. The rest is history!
Groomsman
Tim and Nick have been friends since 2021 when Tim started at Kriya Therapeutics. They both enjoy plants, food, and triathlons. They completed their first Half Ironman at the 2023 NC Half Ironman in Wilmington.
