How do we get there?

We will be chartering a ferry for everyone departing from the Casco Bay Lines at 1:30PM on Saturday. ***PLAN TO HAVE YOUR CAR PARKED AND BE AT THE TERMINAL BY 1:00. This is peak season in Portland and the Baylines can get very overcrowded. To make sure you make it on to the ferry we are providing please give yourself ample time to be there and be situated. The next boat to the island will not depart from Portland until 3, and will arrive after our ceremony has been completed.*** If you are not able to make that ferry more will be available throughout the day (usually 1 every hour) and tickets can be purchased at the Bay Lines's box office. You can expect a lovely 30 minute ride out to the island. ***Parking is minimal at the Baylines and summer weekends in Portland are very heavily trafficked. We recommend walking or scheduling an Uber from your accommodations to the terminal. What should I wear?

Whatever you feel good and comfortable in! At this point we are planning for a warm sunny day, swimming, lawn games and picnics so be sure to have an option to move in if you'd like. The walk from the boat to the hall is roughly .25 miles so we recommend selecting footwear accordingly!

Please bring your own glass/cup/water bottle for beverages. We will be providing plenty of tasty NA options. Other encouraged items are -bathing suit -change of clothes -warm layer -sunscreen -picnic blanket/beach towels

How do we get off the island?

Answer
