If you are sticking around for the rest of the weekend, we will be hosting a beach BBQ at Tea Island on Saturday. Cross your fingers for some warm October weather!

There are 9 on-site suites available for the night of our wedding, Friday the 6th. All suites (excluding the montcalm suite) are available to our guests for ONE NIGHT only. Please call Erlowest if you are interested in one of these suites.

Pre & Post Wedding Shuttle

Shuttle transportation will provide drop-off to The Inn at Erlowest in a continuous loop from 2:45-3:45pm pre ceremony, and from 9:30-11:30pm at the end of the night. Pick up/drop off locations are Tea Island Resort and Marine Village.

Lake George Village
The Inn at Erlowest, Tea Island, and Marine Village are all closely located to the Lake George Village. Marine Village is walkable, otherwise there are local trolley pick-up points to take you into the village. There are a multitude of shops, attractions, restaurants, etc. Spend time walking around and enjoy the lake views!
Bolton Landing
Visit the town of Bolton Landing a little further up the lake to shop, eat, drink, etc! Some of our favorite places include: The Algonquin, Chateau on the Lake, the Sagamore Resort, Bolton Landing Brewery, Happy Jacks, Serendipity, Local, Indian Teepee Shop, The Lake George Trading Company, and many more!

Is there a dress code?

Black-Tie Optional or formal attire please! Ladies, the ceremony will take place on grass, so please be wary of your heels!

The average weather for October is 60° high / 37° low. Please pay attention to the weather as we approach October and dress accordingly! The ceremony and cocktail hour will likely take place outside (heaters provided during cocktail hour).

Is there an airport nearby?
Answer
If you will be flying, the closest airport is Albany International Airport. The travel time is about 50 minutes between the airport and the Inn at Erlowest. Rental Car Services are available, and ride sharing services (Uber, Lyft) will take you to Lake George.

If your invitation says, “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Yes, please check the travel page for information regarding the shuttle service. If you are interested in driving yourself, there is a parking lot on site for your use!
