Maid of Honor
Yvette (more commonly known as Closeface) has been Angelene's best friend since high school. With a similar family dynamic and a strict Hispanic upbringing, they understood each other immediately and had an unbreakable connection for life! Yvette has the positivity and laughter to light up any room, and she's influenced Angelene's life by being the extraordinary example of what a hardworking, kind, and selfless individual a person can be no matter what life brings her way.
Bridesmaid
Megan is Angelene's cousin. Specifically her WHAT DO YOU NEED AND I'M THERE cousin. Unimaginably supportive, and extremely non-judgemental, Megan has been the person Angelene has gone to with the heaviest parts of her life and felt heard and understood. Megan continues to inspire Angelene and others in the way of purposefully developing herself into someone she likes and is proud of.
Bridesmaid
Jade is the little sister Angelene never had. She is one of Angelene's closest and most adventurous friends, and they connect on their passions of cosmetics, travel, and art. Jade brings the FUN to Angelene's life. Whether shes dragging her out to dance for the night or asking her to come out snowboarding... it's GO GO GO with Jade. She's a constant reminder to explore and live life all while making new friends wherever she goes.
Bridesmaid
Julia is Angelene's cousin and best friend. Julia is contagiously positive; there isn't a single cell in Julia's anatomy that doesn't radiate joy and love. She is elegance, she is patience, and she is irreplaceable. Angelene has consistently relied on Julia for her wisdom, her biblical knowledge, and uplifting words of advice. As a spiritual leader to Angelene, she's been a blessing to grow up with from girls to women.
Bridesmaid
Kimberly is Angelene’s biggest heartthrob and biggest headache. Kimberly cooks for the Gods, paints faces like Leonardo Da Vinci, dresses to the nines like Iris Apfel, and cares more about people than Mother Teresa. She’ll also lose your car keys while leaving work, throw a tantrum if shes overheated or hungry, accidently drop your debit card on the las vegas strip, and ruin your life.. but! She’s a keeper. Kimberly is the sister Angelene never asked for and also couldn’t live without. 14 years of friendship looks good on the both of them and it’ll stay that way until the end of time.
Ring Bearer
Ryker and Micah are the bride and groom's most adorable nephews. They have been their auntie's baby fever cure, and their uncle's roughest playmates. Make sure you take pictures with them and feed them cotton candy, as they are going to be the life of the party!
Mother of the Bride
Michele has devoted her life to raising all three of her children the way God says to. Angelene has inherited many generational blessings through her mother's prayers and obedience to God's word. Michele has been the influence in all of Angelene's creative interests and talents. She also continues to inspire Angelene through living a life that supports the work/family life balance with grace, patience, and an open door policy. When Angelene looks at her mother, she truly believes there isn't a more beautiful woman on the entire planet earth.
Father of the Bride
Jonathan will be easily recognizable as the bride’s father, not because they have the same face, but because he’ll be swinging from the chandeliers as this is the best day of his life, naturally. Jonathan will be able to ride his dirt bikes, watch his sports, and live out his life in peace and harmony now that he has handed off his most difficult child to the next brave man who has stepped in to care for her. Although Jonathan’s prayers and believing for a miracle played a major part in Angelene and Nicholas’ union, there is an enlightening anecdote to the very first introduction between Nicholas and Jonathan which lies somewhere between being aggressively forward and uncomfortably prophetic. As soon as handshakes were made and names were exchanged, Jonathan gave Nick a prompt timeline to propose and marry his daughter. Although the timeline has tripled since the orignal discussion, we’ve arrived at the destination we were bullied into. Thankfully, this is truly a win for all involved! Thanks for the extra push, Dad.
Father of the Groom
In proper 'Dad' fashion, Nick's father, Derek, knows how to do everything. As is true for all firefighters, Derek has worked a second job in the carpentry trade his whole life. His interests of working with his hands taught Nick he hated building things but enjoyed the concept, getting him started in his career of construction. A great family man, and community leader, if you can't find Derek, try looking to see who's mowing the lawn.
Mother of the Groom
If Nick ever tells you you're his best friend, he's lying. That spot has been taken for over 30 years by his mother, Nancy. A tough cookie with the greatest sense of humor, she's taught Nick the value of both standing up for himself while not taking life too seriously. For as much as Nancy hates traveling, she's always on the go - visiting Nick and Samantha or going between her homes in South Carolina and New Hampshire. If there's one thing you can count on, it's Nancy showing up with unsolicited sweets and desserts, no matter how many times you told her you're trying to get in shape for your wedding.
Best Man
Justin made Nick cram into the back of his Orange Toyota pick-up and they'd drive hours into the night to see crappy bands play in strangers' basements. Justin embodies the truest form of a brother from another mother. They've been friends for over 17 years, and though they both regret it, neither has the guts to tell the other to stop calling.
Groomsman
Adam deliberately broke Nick's skateboard in 7th grade, and apparently that's all it takes to become close friends. The two have been in at least thirty bands together, as they convinced their other friends to randomly learn musical instruments to fill the gaps. Adam has been coerced to spend all of his vacation time helping Nick move across the country multiple times, visiting 31 of the 50 states in the last 7 years. Nebraska sucks.
Groomsman
The softest bad boy on the block, Ryan has the schemiest of schemes and the dankyest of memes. Best friends since literally first grade, the only time the two had a falling out was when Ryan embarrassed Nick playing as Mankind in WWF Wrestlemania in 1999. Forgive but never forget. From music to motorcycles, they've followed the same interests their whole lives and will probably be pranking each other until they stop.
Groomsman
Jason comes off as a really nice guy, but is secretly a bad influence. Nick and Jason's friendship began as coworkers with the Air Force and they continued working together on other federal contracts where they would sneak away at lunch to gamble. Jason's biggest problem is buying a new vehicle every 6 months. Although his decision-making with cars is questionable, he offers great career advice and Nick attributes a lot of his current career progression to Jason.
Groomsman
Jake and Nick met in Missouri in 2010, and Jake became obsessed and followed him to New Mexico. While in NM, the two committed several crimes and sank a boat. After two years, Nick had enough and needed to move to Korea to escape him. Just when Nick felt safe, he moved to Henderson only to find out that a few streets over Jake was waiting for him. Naturally, trouble followed. Between Jake and Jason, the band of misfits gambled their way in and out of financial crisis - ultimately quitting the game on top. After a few more bad decisions, Jake had to flee Las Vegas, looking for the quiet beach life in San Diego. But look out buddy, Nick is coming for you.
Flower Girl
Hayden is a charming little ray of sunshine. With her radiant smile and contagious laughter, Hayden brings an infectious joy, no matter the time or place. When she's not busy dazzling us with her dance moves in class, you can find her swinging a t-ball bat for the fences with her brother Grayson. Hayden's playful and mischievous nature adds a sprinkle of whimsy to our special day. This soon-to-be kindergartener is known for her outgoing and social personality, always eager to make new friends. Hayden, our little flower girl, embodies the spirit of love, laughter, joy, and is the perfect little person to bring new beginnings.
Unfortunately we are maxed out for occupancy. Children will not be able to attend.
