From the first glance, Tony knew Nelly was going to be his wife--at the AGE OF 10. They became best friends, racing each other at the park, playing tag, eating chips, and just hanging out every Sunday during the summer. As their friendship grew, so did Tony's feelings for Nelly. Fast forward 6 years, Tony asked Nelly if she just "liked him" or "liked liked him." She shyly whispered to his ear "liked liked" as she ran to catch her cab after a quinceneara. Shook...Tony went home with the biggest smile that made his dimples appear. It was not until 10/21/2011, that Tony and Nelly were on the phone, and they had both talked about how they missed the Camila concert--one of the best Mexican bands at the time. This particular band actually sings what later became "their song." During that phone call, Nelly had asked Tony to ask her the question again...and he did. Dating for 8 years, they survived through long distance, losses, teenage years, and more. They ultimately both found God, who is the center and foundation of their love. Without God, they would not be where they are today and feeling blessed, they will both walk down the aisle to commit forever in 2021.
