Our Story
Thomas and Jess met in 2013 at a friend’s college kickback. They became close friends, drawn to each other’s presence. By summer 2014, friendship naturally turned into love. Their relationship grew slowly and intentionally. They supported each other through life’s changes and challenges, learning how to make an impact and facing joy and uncertainty together. Their bond stayed steady through stillness and movement. Together, they became more than they imagined people who dream, love, and live with purpose. Now, after years of shared life and growth, Thomas and Jess are ready to begin a new season. They look forward to celebrating this next chapter with those who have been part of their journey

Tapas Valencia Restaurant
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the South Loop with great tapas.
VU Rooftop Bar
Chicago is best enjoyed from a rooftop in the summer, and VU is a great rooftop right across the street from the hotel.
Nafsi South Shore Beach
Amazing restaurant in the South Shore Cultural center. You can stop here if you want a sneak peak of the Venue.
Chinatown
One of our favorite parts of Chicago is Chinatown. It's just a short drive from the hotel and they have lots with very reasonable parking, address above, if you validate at one of the restaurants. We love to walk around and all the restaurants are great. Mira Sushi is great for unlimited sushi, Veggie House has amazing vegetarian food, and Yep Kitchen is one of our favorites for more traditional food or Dim Sum.
Paisans Pizzeria - South Loop
You can't have a Chicago recommendations list without at least one pizza place. While deep dish is great, most of the time we eat thin crust pizza and Paisans is one of our faves.

There will be plenty of parking available at the venue. However, it is paid parking, which you can pay by a QR Code or Meters both located in the lot.

Yes, bring them! This is a family celebration, and we’d love to see all the little ones. Just make sure to include them in your RSVP so we’re ready for them!
