After several phone conversations, our first date was at Jamba Juice when Nate was making his way near Meshiel's work from Tahoe. One look at her in scrubs was his pina to her colada and the Razzmatazz launched. 2nd date was sunset river picnic near Knights Ferry and Stanislaus River with Nate making Meshiel some yummy dinner. Many more adventure hikes (Rancho Pacheco, Yuba River, Mendocino), wine tasting and several other exciting moments exploring California together. Meshiel was in great shape. Nate, not so much. She kicked his butt on their first Pacheco 11 mile hike. Nate moved to Tahoe shortly after we met to work as a medical director. He then took a leadership position in college health at UC Davis. Meshiel loved her kiddos so much and served as a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics as well as care-giving for many years. She then transitioned to full time influencer. In April 2024, Nate asked Meshiel to spend forever with him on the Na'Pali coast in Kauai, Hawaii under a waterfall. She said Yes! Many jungle hikes, incredible beaches, and eating our way through the island was the perfect engagement getaway. We bought our first home in Tahoe in June 2022. We survived our first mega winter (record breaking snow in Tahoe), and enjoyed hosting family for Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. Meshiel learned how to snowboard from Nate on the Tahoe Slopes, and Nate is still alive to tell the story without Meshiel strangling him too much! Nate worked for a few years in Davis before making his way back to Tahoe. We got our first new home in Woodland June 2024. Meshiel finished her work in pediatrics in fall 2024 and graduated to being Teddy's fully time mommy. Teddy came home for Meshiel's November 2024 birthday surprise. He just celebrated his 1st Birthday and has been frolicking and musing with us chasing him around in our backyard lawn and all over the lake/beaches we can find. We moved full time back to Tahoe June 2025, and are still settling in to the home. Meshiel enjoys her decorating and has made the house a home. Nate has been enjoying his new grill and trying not to breakdown from all the new yardwork! 2025 included lots of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, beaches/sunbathing, river floating, farmer's markets, mountain biking, hiking, basketball, gym grinding, coffee sippin' and wedding planning for 2025, as well as Nate settling into his new job with Kaiser. We did a major backyard renovation summer 2025 and started renting the Woodland home in late summer. We got our Epic passes together this year and looking forward to another mega snow Tahoe Winter, shredding the fresh powder. Andrew moved to Tahoe shortly after Nate did and they have been dominating the basketball courts at Kahle ever since just like their old UCSF days. 10 years later and about to enter the 4th decade hasn't slowed either down. Andrew bulldozes his way in the paint while Nate launches his Curry-wannabe 3's. Lots of our time is spent with Drew and we need to find him his forever boo so he can graduate from being our 3rd wheel. Meshiel is dreaming about her next adventure of creating her Filipino kitchen by creating the delicious meals she is famous for. We are both looking forward to post-wedding life as it has been a major life challenge this year to put it all together. We are so thrilled you all have joined us for this special day/week and feel honored you are such a special part of our lives. May God bless you and we hope our relationship resonates with your own story and we can continue to build our community together in God's grace, learning to love each other as he first loves us. We are 2 very imperfect people that are journeying through life learning how to love each other more fully. Our family and friends mean so much to us, and we are counting on you all to support us in the next adventure of marriage, reflecting God's perfect love with our imperfect love. Meet us in the Moutains!
