Our love story started when Natalie and her roommates decided to try a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans, with flavors ranging from candyfloss to vomit. After enjoying cherry, green apple, and tutti-fruitti, they decided to continue their late-night shenanigans by shoving the nasty flavored beans under their friend's door across the hall. With a handful of disgusting jelly beans and no keys, Natalie propped her door open with a pillow and started shoving beans under their friend's door, but stopped after hearing the door click shut with her roommates giggling behind the door. In a mix of laughs and fake-whines, Natalie sat against their door and knocked for the two to let her back in. Eric, curious about the noise in the hallway, decided that it was the perfect time to grab a Three Musketeers from the dorm vending machine. In the hallway, he found Natalie in her pajamas fake-crying and knocking. The night later continued with us playing Uno with Eric's roommates and our bean-boozled neighbors. Over the next month, we developed crushes on each other, and Natalie eventually invited herself on a trip with Eric and his mom to visit his sisters up in Boone (using the excuse that she had friends at App State). As the day in Boone came to an end, we headed back to our respective dorms ended our conversation with confessions that we liked each other. We’re excited to continue growing together surrounded by the love and support of our family and friends!
