They first met January 4th 2024 at the Lifetime Skokie rock wall. They went sledding and to the rodeo together where they had a wonderful time. Then in May 2024 Brendon taught Natalie to drive manual and helped her get tires which took many trips to Costco. On various occasions as Costco, they got mistaken for a married couple which they found humorous. In August, they went on an impromptu camping trip to help Natalie reground after her stressful finals week. This trip featured some kayaking, dinner with her parents, getting locked out of the campground and needing to sneak in, and then a very eventful evening during which their camping neighbor lost their mind and chased them around (took too many substances). Brendon took care of Natalie and kept her safe. By this point in time Natalie was already smitten and knew Brendon to be a man with the kindest heart, adventurous spirit, steadiest hands, and the most humorous banter. They officially started dating August 27th 2024. They stayed by each other’s sides through thick and thin (a lot of illness and a spinal injury) and never quit making each other laugh. Brendon asked Natalie to officially be his best friend forever and other half on February 8, 2026 on the frozen Beck lake. Why Beck lake? Because Beck lake is where Natalie can be found on a particularly difficult day and Brendon promised to be there for her on all her days, including the difficult ones. They tied the knot just a few short months after at a micro ceremony on May 1, 2026 at the Redfield Estate at the Grove. And now they’re ready to celebrate and share their joy with all their friends and loved ones!
