Outdoor Adventures!

If you're still around on Monday, hang with us in the Gunks! The area has great hiking and climbing. Based on the group's preference for hiking, climbing, or hanging at a swimming hole & eating snacks, we'll plan something fun and approachable for everyone interested.

Travel

TRANSPORTATION You will be traveling to a beautiful yet rural area! There are no ride shares or public transit available so we recommend renting a car or carpooling with others! The closest & easiest airport is Albany Intl. Airport (1 hour 20 min. drive to High Falls). Cars can be rented at the airport. NYC is ~2 hour drive so you can fly into Newark, JFK, or Laguardia airports and rent a car from there. If you're meeting someone with a car, take the Adirondack Trailways bus to Rosendale or New Paltz from NYC. LODGING There are lots of B&B's and short term rental options within 20 min. of the venue (search High Falls, Accord, Kerhonkson, Marbletown, Rosendale, New Paltz, Kingston). Hotels/Motels Starlite Motel - Kerhonkson NY Inness Hotel - Accord NY Mohonk Mountain House - New Paltz NY If you prefer an upstate adventure, our friends have offered their beautiful farm property for camping (10 min. from venue!). Let us know if you want to camp and we will help coordinate!
