We have a room block at Archer Hotel Tysons but have recommended a few others that are close to the venue and have good reputations. Feel free to stay wherever you feel comfortable. Are children invited?

While we love you all and your kids, unless their names are included on the invitation, we'd like you to have a night out.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We have chosen to have our wedding at a hotel so people won't need to worry about transportation. However, if you are local or choose to stay somewhere other than Archer Tysons, parking is $15 for event parking and $25 for overnight. We want to make sure everyone get's back safely.

Does the hotel have parking?

Yes, the hotel offers valet parking only. $15 for the day/event and $25 for overnight.

Which airport is closer?

Answer

Both Dulles (IAD) and Reagan (DCA) are close and easy to get to and from. The choice is up to you and your airline choice.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are kindly asking our guests to wear black-tie; a tuxedo or dark suit and tie or long evening gown or formal pant suit.

Will any of the wedding events take place outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held inside and if weather permits, cocktail hour on a rooftop terrace. If there is impeding weather, the cocktail hour will be moved inside.

Am I allowed to take pictures and videos?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos or videos are taken during the ceremony. We will have a photographer to capture our special moment and want everyone to be in the moment. Feel free to take pictures afterwards, we will provide a qr code so you can share your pictures with us.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

We do not have anything planned but would love for those to take the opportunity to go into DC, visit our neighborhood, and just enjoy the weekend.

What if I have a dietary restriction or allergy?

We will offer a few different entree options to accommodate our guests and their preferences or allergies but, please notify Rory.

Where are you registered?

Answer

First, we understand that many of you are traveling to celebrate with us and your presence means the world to us, so there is no pressure to give a gift. However, if you wish to give a gift, we have a registry with a few items on this wedding site (coming soon) but we are mainly saving up for our honeymoon and first house.
